Fun set of turns, got Bruindane in the action, though he bled mostly. Two bosses down, two to go in the east and northeast.

Not sure if I understand why east would have been better. I did decide to split our heroes my last turnset, as the eastern boss might be tough due to low level wounded units, but the southeastern one went down easily enough without our heroes.

Those thunderers are quite fun actually. They took down bats with one shot and defended well on the mountains.

We should have pushed east with our heros first so we could claim the clump of villages in the corner faster.

Thunders deal (7-9) damage vs skeletons who we mainly are facing.

Its not worth it compared to poachers and dwarfs who can deal a shitload of damage to skeletons and bats.

One thing I've gleaned from our game so far, is that villages are not too important if you keep getting early finish bonuses.

Killed the big undead boss, levelled two dwarf fighters, captured villages, pressed onward. Someone level Lewwyn by the by.

I think they were bought due to the unfamiliarity of the weapon type mechanics and resistances. Lewwyn is new to the game and these details are more hidden. Still, I found them passable defenders, and bat killers, they also move quickly in the caves like all dwarves.

They'll be useful against bats and other stuff you may or may not encounter.

They are okay if you're okay with reloading the game every so often. They are just completely unreliable as a damage source. Almost as bad as Human Heavy infantry.

Turn 16-17 push to the leader *YAWN*

Turn 18

Their last leader the lich pushed forward so I made sure to trap him good.
Although I got a bit agressive so we will most likely lose a dwarf scout thats about to level up. Sorry.

After turn:

We did lose the dwarf and another outlaw on 60% with full health I mean what are the bloody odds. This is what our 4th/5th one?

The leader has only 30hp left so it shouldn't be to hard to kill him.
Err also I failed to level up lewwyn so far.

Great trap Fire & Ice. We kill some minions, knock down the Lich's health further before moving in Fire&Ice to crisp it.
