[SPOILERS] Catherine of China

Huh, that's a nice line of lakes and peaks. And JUST on the other side of the settling agreement you signed. How convinient!

Act of Krill.

Also, I don't think the 390 hammers is too huge for something that will restrict people's ability to wage long term wars with us. There's a lot of space so we won't have to attack to claim territory and can basically turtle and expand at a good constant rate until for a very long time. Because of our pretty much free city, our growth rate will be slightly higher and at some point, we will become a major dopile target assuming we don't squander that growth rate. Zeus will work for us quite well in this situation. It won't will you a game but it'll help you transform a small lead into a big one. Also because of how WW decay is so low compared to how easy it is to gain, it will make repeated wars with us difficult especially if anyone tries to travel half way around the world for it. I would rate it as a very good long term investment in a MP game like this.

Then there's the fact that I think its pretty much the best wonder we can actually get in the near future. We probably aren't going to get anything else that's decent. Maybe TGL.

PS. It seems like sunrise and friends are up to something judging by the jump in posts.

TGL was built recently by another team.

Ah. Darn pronouns and acronyms.

Statue requires 4 monuments at this size of a map. Also I don't think we should be heading to Aesthetics any time soon. Obviously if it is still available when we get there we can try. Great Library would be nice, but no Marble makes it quite expensive build and it is behind Aesthetics.

Another turn passed. Here is domestic situation. We'll soon have Granaries up in our larger cities. Optimal whips are such that don't remove citizens from resource tiles so we still need to grow most them a bit to open 2 pop whips. Also having that silver early might be very useful to have some more room in the happy cap.

The areas north from Tyvm didn't contain any new resources. That could mean that we might be able to claim and keep furs with Tyvm.

I revisited our dot map in the north. I'm starting to be pretty content with it except now that I look at it the Northwestern city should probably be on a even bigger canal city and moved 1E. Only bad thing is wasting spice tile, but settling there depeds a lot from our discussions with Nakor.

Choosing the 3 way canal city site is going to be tough. It will be hard to defend unless we have another city north of mountains. Definitely want a canal city to the northern sea. The NW tiles are lake so changes are its pretty small so I wouldn't be overly sad if we lost access to those. However, we can put it on flat land and put another city 1 W of deer(1N of mountains) so we can make that choke narrower.

I guess the coffee city might need to go 1 E on the hill with our revised dot map. Its going to be nearly impossible to defend that against a determined thrust from the South and we have nothing in the North lands yet.

Also the NWest city should go on the hill to the N and control that choke or N-NW and control the choke and be a canal city.

Since we can't see even jungle yet I think there should be room for a city in the north to us so being in a hill is not totally nescessary.

I suspect with coffee city you mean the one in the west. The reason why I've it there is that there is a Corn other side of the lake and we'll definatley want that, if we can agree upon it with Nakor. If we can't then 1SE is my favourite. I suspect this border to be peaceful for foreseeable future so I don't think it will be that bad to settle on flat land.

Nwest means probably Neast. I again suspect there will be room for further cities NE and this wouldn't be border city. Futhermore moving N or N-NE would waste a riverside grassland tile or tiles.

The 3 way canal tile can have a fort.
