So here we go:
I fought the spiders, killed the two with little difficulty and sent the lvl3 thug towards the unexplored cave. Whoops, next turn two more spiders burst out of the fog. The first attacked the thuggy and thuggy killed him yay! Then the second attacked thuggy again and thuggy was able to get one shot in on the spider before dying. Still good effort even though its a big loss. Killed the last spider. Two units are poisoned, but one just needs to kill something. Also, went down the cave and there's a staff. Dunno what it is yet. Just make sure whoever takes it isn't going to effect us negatively by losing their attack. Maybe its a healing staff? if so don't put it on a poisoned unit.:
In the west caves I was able to take down the big king and get us two villages to cycle units for healing. It was costly though...I lost our ranger to the king. He would have survived if even one attack by the king had missed.
In SE little to no progress, killed one skeleton and injured the big one some more. Thats it.
Also bad luck in the east. I lost a footpad and a thug on the Second IT. We did make progress though. Not much left to kill there.
NE caves are pretty good, no losses though tons of skeletons have no clogged the way up... Maybe we should pull back so we can kill multiples.
Ah, there may be a slight problem in the NW where we killed all the orange skeletons. Right now there are 4 big lvl 2 guys and they're tearing it up. I've actually only lost one no exp footpad, but two 2nd lvl footpads have gotten really injured. Each one survived 3 attacks by the skellies so they held up well! Just useless now lol. I'm suggesting kill as many of the lvl 2's as you can so that they can't attack en masse. OR you can retreat, try to hold the two towers and be pummeled.
There's also some cool chests there.
