[Spoilers] The Golem Factory: Beeri Bawl of the Luchuirp

We should file a missing persons report.
Quote:Have you seen this golem?

Last seen wandering off in the company of some brutish teal men, known locally as vicious dog breeders.

Barnaxus's sculptors miss him very much and just want him to come home.

Information leading to their capture and the return of the missing golem will be rewarded by the Luchuirp Ministry of Defence and Architecture.

lol that's great!

Here's a paintjob of the moves in the hunt:

The red blobs are my warriors on Turn 89. The teal blob is the wolf on turn 89.

Then the different colors are my warriors movements the proceeding turns.

The wolf can only 2 move through flat open terrain. No forests, jungles or hills. So after my moves on turn 90, the yellow arrows, there's only two places he can be without me seeing it. On the standing stones, but if that was the case my eastern warrior would have seen him the next turn. On the plains tile SE of the plains marble tile. Any other tile I would've bordered. The hill, the desert, going north, southwest, anything would have been next to my warriors.

On turn 91 I moved my warriors following the white arrows. The only way the wolf could have gone to avoid detection is east. West and south he runs into my hills warrior. North he runs into my other warrior. Must have been east. And so on. And since I got contact with the Lanun here, the Doviello should have too! Unless he got hidden nationality. But he didn't the last time I saw it.

It is possible that the Lanun have been bribed into silence. Luckily, there is an easy way to check. Go to the diplomacy screen and see if the Lanun have contact. If they do then we know that Amelia is lying to us. If they don't, then we've missed something here...

Oh, and something I just noticed. Mahala has Empyrean. Do you know if it was founded through technology(in which case that is very very early for someone who also has festivals and bronze working!) or through a lair pop?

No idea how Empyrean was founded. I've been leaning towards a lair pop but I'm not sure.

Also this turn shows us that the east is a dead end except for Lanun lands. Only mountains everywhere. Didn't check Lanun diplo, will do so next turn.

Mist moves into view this army:

Not a big army, but dangerous. He's acquired copper, not sure if by trade or from his own resource. Forgot to check his trade screen.

In Mutanbo next turn I will have two Wood Golems (Birch and Oak) and six warriors. three of those warriors have C1 and Shock 1 promos.

Have we got a plan if he moves on Tiaran?
Reply

Mostly involves piling warriors in there since I can 2-move them through the hills. Wood Golems can get there in 3 turns which is a bit slow. I'll see what happens. He'll prolly move 1E next turn. Then either 1SE, in which case i'll try attacking the stack if I can. Or he'll move 1E onto the farm and pillage it. I made two 1-turn warriors in Mutanbo and Ithralia since Ilios is pulling back copper in one or two turns. I may make two more next turn as well. My remaining golden hammer equipped warrior is 1 SW of Ithralia, so he might be able to get up and defend in time before dumping the golden hammer in Mutanbo.

Apparently Ilios killed Loki.

There goes that plan

Wow. Must have been pretty bad play by Serdoa there. The only way Loki can die is if he gets completely surrounded, or if he is in a city.

Yeah Ilios said he got him somewhere he couldnt run from.
