Your not alone this idiot has already reported to the proper police figures may they rest in peace.

spacemanmf Wrote:Incidentally, working the grassland forest in Big Slick got the worker finished in one turn rather than two turns working a floodplain or lake, which is why I did that.

Yeah, good call. I considered continuing that for a faster axe, but of course growth is king. (For the lurkers: Working a forest got us to four base hammers and gave us a bonus hammer from the forge).

Got it.

Dammit, Googly was going to be mine for G... I'll get my thinking cap on for G & H.

(Another option for F was Full Toss I thought last night, but I'm happy with Fine Leg.)

So how much do you want to bet?

I don't think this is true actually. If we want TGL, I think the correct procedure is to chop the granary, borrow some food and
1) Whip the lighthouse, max overflow into TGL
2) Whip the forge, max overflow into TGL
3) Whip a galley, max overflow into TGL
4) Chop remaining forest into TGL.

I think that will give us TGL reasonably fast, and lots of other useful stuff on the way.

I know you're in a full-blown paranoia mode right now, so TGL is nixed. My point is, regardless of our TGL plans we should chop a granary in Sailboats. No need to save forests for the wonder.

Was scanning through old posts looking for EPs and realised that I don't think I saw this.

Looks like we've got a bit of leeway from Pegasus so I'm happy to let you recommence your farmer's gambit, once we have a decent barb sentry net up. Good places for this are on the wheat/cows hill and on the hill ESE of the incense. EDIT: Plus on the hills N of the copper and NE of the pigs.

And I bow to your superior MM skills... :-)

I'm not too fussed but we can afford 5, can't we?

T80 turn report.

Our axeman outside NFD successfully defended against the barb axe (the barb had 23% odds).

We celebrated by whipping a worker in NFD. We'll have lots of overflow there next turn, maybe another worker is appropriate?

NFD is working the sheep and gold this turn, freeing up the cows for DMH:

Down by Kojak, I did some fogbusting with our workers:

If our worker had seen any barbs, I would have moved him NE onto the safe forest. Instead I moved him north to that forest. One of the workers on the rice moved to the other forest, and the other worker on the rice resumed roading the silver. Next turn we start double-chopping the granary.

Diplo. We now have a NAP to T130 with a no ROP for hostile forces clause with Pegasus.

I trust Spaceman can smooth over my clumsy reply next time he has the turn.

We signed a gambling deal with Ruff:

And finally this turn's chest-thumping.

I have to run.

Agreed - NFD and DMH are short of developed tiles. We can switch between the worker and the axe to grow if necessary.

A barb could spawn and move next to our worker on the forest by Kojak still, I suppose, but our axe can get there soon.

On G & H, I can only think of Groundsman or Guard or Glove(s) so far for G, now that Googly has already been taken. For H, I am struggling even more - Helmet, Hoick, High Score are all fairly poor efforts. Handled Ball or Hit Wicket are two ways of getting out. Hmm, getting more now.
