Huh. Apparently due to server instability we all get 350RP if we logged in within the last month. Woot!

For a while there I was in ecstasy, but then I took a look at the shop and found out only two skins cost less than 350 RP. Gotta hope for more server instability!

Not enough to buy anything, but just enough to make us want to buy some RP. :P

If you're willing to save it, just wait around till a cheap skin rotates toward your favorite champ and then grab that.

Any 520 RP skin will be 260 RP when it goes on sale. I don't think I've ever bought a skin that wasn't on sale. If you wait long enough, everything that isn't Legendary will get discounted eventually.

To be honest, any game where someone gets over 20 kills is usually pretty terrible. Not always, but usually. No one gets 40 kills unless it's a low level game where teams don't know how to end games once they get ahead, or some kind of variant (non-serious) game, or something that like. I've had replays sent to me where the game lasts 60 minutes, and the total kills are 60-50... and it's an awful game, because neither team ever does dragon or baron or pushes when they've aced the other side. As the skill level increases, you'll find that the total number of kills decreases dramatically, because players don't overextend and die easily. Most of the 5 vs 5 tournament games for cash prizes have kill scores in the range of 15-5 or something like that. Not many deaths!

Got this in an ARAM game several days ago, once you get ahead in an ARAM game you can snowball really heavily. This usually results in a 20 min surrender an an early nexus kill but aside from me, the levels and items of everyone else was fairly even.

I think this whole "kill number" stat by itself without any additional info is not very useful.
I remember the time when I started my US account with the (old version) Twitch and you could just run all over the map, hit "r" and kill people left and right as soon as you were ahead a few kills, easily scoring 30+kills. Same with ARAM, if you draw Ashe and the enemy only has a bad team you can just sit there and kill people with volley/arrow, not much skill needed.

IMHO, sometimes you see really good support players, like a Janna with almost no farm that saves the team plenty of times, but nobody is going to appreciate that (one example on the enemy team in Sullla's recent cast). And a Teemo that actually knows where to place his mushrooms for keyfights is probably a better player than someone who just runs around, killing low level players by stacking 8 mushrooms in a single unimportant side lane brush.

I'd love to see some more discussion on Rune Pages. I bought the Atlas recommended runes way back in the day, but I feel a little behind playing carry champs without dedicated offensive runes. Right now I have:
