Yeah, poked around, really not much going on. I really can't get over how far behind we are - really picked the wrong game to get cute with Leader/Civ choice. Obviously there's been other mistakes too, but the combination of Hunting/Fishing start + no early game traits = a million miles behind. We'll still have something to say about how the game turns out in the long run, though, so its not a total waste.
FWIW, more and more I'm thinking if we ally with anyone it should be Locke. He's not the same threat to runaway, and Adlain is even further behind than we are, so we're much less likely to be a target. You're handling the diplo, so I'll let you make up your own mind there.
Oh - how do you feel about having the galley start back south around that peninsula? Our work boat can finish exploring that side, but I'd like to get a look around the other side soon, so we can determine if settling a city on that landmass is a legitimate option. I know its probably indefensible, but then again, so are Crossing I/II.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

2-pop whipped Vinland (1 unhappy) to finish the Courthouse. It can build workers/settler to get out of whip anger.
Not much else to add. Settler in Greenland will be done next turn to connect the silver site.
Haven't ended turn yet.

Before I get to the turn, the UN thread strikes again. I eat that stuff right up. Here's hoping WK can manage to survive.
What are we building in Greenland after the Settler? Worker, Settler or Confucian Temple, I'd say. Usually not a big fan of temples, but they're not bad when you're spiritual.
Would really like to get another worker over at Beaverpass. Getting the corn farm and deer online will explode growth, and it should actually turn out to be a pretty profitable city. Its growing glacially until then though.
I went ahead and hired back a scientist in Crossing. We can hire another when it grows next turn. Might need to go back and forth a bit there, but so it goes. Definitely want to get a Courthouse and Trading Post up relatively posthaste.
Fishfood will want a Trading Post after the granary. Most of its sustainment will come from water tiles.
Make sure we keep an eye on Crossing II. We'll want to whip both a Granary and TP at max overflow into Moai. At that point, it'll be a hell of a city - we can have it pump military heavily to defend that area.
With that, hit enter.

I think we should get a temple in Greenland first to let it grow to size 10. Then another worker/settler pair maybe with a whip and a marketplace to regrow?
There are 2 workers moving to the silver site and there should be workers available to move to Beaverpass after their current projects finish.
I really believe we don't need that much more workers, just a few for the islands.

Started the turn:
Greenland: Settler -> Confucian Temple (5)
Crossing: Axeman -> Courthouse (20) [With a 2nd scientist hired - we can of course fire them for production at any time]
I moved the units around that I could tell the obvious intention of. The one's I had no idea what they were up to, I left alone. Really wasn't much of any tile micro to do, though I did my customary trek through the cities. I went ahead and upped Science to 50% at -4 gpt. That gets Currency in 3 instead of 4. No doubt, we'll be able to maintain 50% science once Currency comes in, even with the imminent settlement of Silver City. Markets will make a much bigger impact on our research rate than Courthouses, so once they come in as an option, they should supplant Courthouses as priority in the build order.
That's about it. I guess we should soon decide what we want to research after Currency. I'd say either Monotheism, as OR would be helpful, both to let us spread Locke's religion around and faster build times or MC, as Forges would make a big difference. Forges also would expand the happy cap by 3 everywhere we build them, as we have all 3 forge-multiplied resources. My gut feeling in Mono first, since we already have too much stuff to build, but I could be talked into either.
I did not hit enter, as I said, I didn't move all the units.

Moved the last units and ended turn. I do think we are moving in the right direction.
Mono - MC sounds like the best plan. CS after?

Not a lot to do this turn. Don't know what to do with Vinland. We could hire a scientist while its stagnant to get rid of whipping anger. I'll leave it to you to finish the turn, Gaspar.

Yeah, Vinland's a bit of a mess. Decided to run the scientist, but its pretty all over the place. Really wish we had settled Horseland to share the corn. So it goes.
Other than that, really wasn't anything going on, as you said.
After Mono-MC, we'll need to make a decision on whether we're going warring or peaceing. If we're going to continue up the peace-path, we'll need to go CS and then off towards Education. If we go war-path, we'll need to pick up HBR and then move on towards CS/Machinery.

A new day and another turn.
Beaverpass finished Library, Courthouse next.
Riverlands finished a Courthouse, onto an Spear.
2 TP's finished as well!
Silverland founded and it costs us nothing!
By the way, please look at the Demo's when you're in the game. We're number 1 in GNP!

Won't get a chance to look at the game til later, but if we're #1 in GNP, EVERYONE must be saving gold at binary right now.
