This is what I sent to mackoti after I first saw his stack. I was really worried, and I was seriously considering giving him Peacemonger and Silver City for peace. But he asked for too much...
Quote:So, I guess the situation is reversed right now. What are your terms for peace?
Quote:Simply i want back what was mine ,City of Peace monger, and out of bouds. You can keep kilkeni, and silver city but you 'll gift me until turn 200 silver(you have another resorce) and ivory. You dont setle any cit past silver city.
A NAP until turn 200;
If this is not acceptable i will fight to the end because sincerly i have nothing left in this game just to prove you that atatacking me was a bad move;
Yes you get all the area past kilkerny just for you, i think is a big consesion wich i made.
regards,
Mackoti
Quote:Hi Luddite !
Hard to say - as long as I can't login until Monday.
But I hope that we have almost nothing to lose right now - except last place ...
Best regards,

Quote:Yeah I'm not going to do that lol. If you want to attack Peacemonger it's going to be a bloodbath.
I haven't talked to either of them since the big battles.

I used the GE to put down the big book stack in peacemonger this turn. It's not the best place for it- I would have liked to use peacemonger for production- but it's good enough. I need the beakers badly, and I need to make sure no one else gets it.
And here's my army assembling in Lupu. It amuses me that I got not 1, but TWO 10 XP units from the fighting yesterday. And it doesn't even matter now, although I can give them formation so they'll have equal odds attacking an unpromoted horse archer.
More importantly, I've got a LOT of units coming in there. In 3 turns I'll have 19 vultures in that city, plus 5 chariots and 5 spears, and my gg medic. Then the offensive begins.

Originally I was going to send him south and settle on the ivory, for the extra happiness. But then my trireme died, and his stack invaded so i had to stop chasing his chariot down there and send all my units north. So I was concerned about my ability to defend a city on the ivory. Now I'm sending the settler east, to settle the choke point between me and LP. It's a good site, with corn, horses, and lots of forests. And it'll have low maintenance, too.

Mackoti is down to four cities now? How long until you get visibility?
Are you building heroic epic now or staying on units?
How far away from construction are you?
Thanks for keeping us lurkers entertained, and good job with the latest massacre. It's been pretty interesting to spectate your thread.

Actually he has five cities. However, one of those was founded recently, so I'm guessing it's not very good yet. Anyway, he's really behind on the city count- even warriorKnight has 7, and regoarrar is up to 10!
I'll get visibility in Dobrin (his only hindu city) in seven turns, as soon as my prophet pops and builds a shrine. Annoyingly, that's the same turn that I'm planing to raze that city anyway. The others will take about 10-15 turns. I might hire some spies to speed that up, though.
I'm just building units for now. My plan is to keep building units now until I've crippled him, then get the heroic epic just in time for catapults and move in for the kill. Hard to say when I'll get construction because my expenses are so high, but I'd guess 15 turns. My only real research right now is from the great library scientists lol.

Quote:Hi Luddite,
I didn't know what exactely happens ... but seems that the bloodbath ended up in your favor.
Well ... as long as without Silver City and ( new ) Lupu city our long-term position wouldn't be secured anyway ... probably the approach which Mack choose ( to attack toward Camataru/Pacemonger city ) was the only one available ... unfortunatelly it ended bad for us.
Judging from Combat Log scree it seems that alot of luck was involved in Combat Odds but anyway - congratulations.
Best regards,
Ioan

So they're finally showing a little humility . But, they're still not willing to actually give me anything except the NAP. Mackoti even asked me to give him silver!
Actually, a white peace does make sense, since I badly need to rebuild my economy. But I'm not going to take it, for three reasons.
1)I've got a really good opportunity to finish them off right now, after the massacre of the last few turns. I have a good battle plan for invading, and I think they're doomed. Getting their land and the pyramids will help me a lot, in the long term. It's probably my only way to keep up with plako and parkin.
2)That NAP until T170 is rather suspicious timing. It's going to take me that long just to rebuild my economy. Meanwhile, they're going full speed ahead on research with representation scientists. They could easily have pikemen, macemen, and trebuchets by then- how do I counter that? Send horse archers against the pikemen, vultures against the macemen, or sit in my cities and get pounded by trebuchets? Ugh, no thanks.
3)We've been fighting so long I'm just emotionally committed to this war. I have nothing against mackoti, I think he played well and never (intentionally) broke any rules, but I want him dead. And I'm sure he feels the same way about me- there's no way we can be allies at this point. As long as he's alive, he's a threat to me.

Locke sent me their minimap!
Quote:OK here I have attach our minimap. I zoom in to make it bigger for you. We have explored most of south except WarriorKnight. Eventually one of us will get Paper and can trade real maps. :D
I saw you take back city from mackoti. It looks like he is done. mackoti stop writing us a while ago I think he has given up on game. We are building up military a bit to be safe. Dont want to make our neighbors scared though. We are hoping to work with Nakor against plako too. He is plako other neighbor in south. If you talk to him then let him know that. WarriorKnight is gonna die soon if nothing changes. Anything to stop Parkin settler spam in north would be good.
Oooh let me guess how you use Great Engineer. I think you will use for Parthenon and then build Great Library. Get extra GPP from wonder. That is guess but that is what I would do if I was you. Am I right? LOL

Also, SleepingMoogle agreed to the NAP. Excellent!
