That is quite out of date.

Some diplo with Nakor. We've a NAP until T165. Clearly they're not planning anything against Locke.
We:
Quote:Just checked our trade screens and I'd be happy to trade silver for gems. Currently I've just 1 silver, but I don't mind trading it to you
Nakor:
Quote:Sorry Plako, we just got our own silver connected...
Maybe if another trade becomes available in the future...
We:
Quote:Alright. Is there anything else you would want to trade for gems.
You didn't answer my previous message. Do we've a NAP extension or not
and would you be intrested in getting some units? It could e.g. Deal
including a stack of HAs that you could pay with berserkers or
navigation I galleys later. Gems could also be part of the deal.
Nakor:
Quote:Sorry. Yes, NAP untill the END of T165 is great!
Currently we are not looking at war but at peacefull expansion, but I'll ask Gaspar if he sees us benefiting from a stack of HA.
Will get back to you on that later.
Then the gems trade, do you have happy-resources we don't have yet? If not, we could do a gpt - gems trade.
I had to think if we want offer something for the gems. Overall I don't like the fact that they're very slow to respond and didn't bother to answer to my questions without asking again.

WK retreated most of the units to Corinth. In the south he left 3 HAs on striking range. 2 of them were unpromoted so I decided to take my chances with them and was able to take all out without losses. The survivors are vulnerable though.
I didn't yet start moving north. only positoned units better to be ready to move forward. I decided to progress in the south. 4 HAs are threatening Argos. Only 1 would have been enough since there is only warrior there, even after ending turn.
WK gets copper back online this turn.

Rego hinted us about the embargo also and they'd like to come share some WK land:
Quote:Seems like we keep missing each other over chat, so I thought I'd drop you a note via email with some of my thoughts.
We were wondering how the war was going - from everything I've been able to see / hear it seems like it's going very well for you and judging from your relative power graphs, that's probably not going to change any time soon.
But I didn't know what your plans were for all that land. I'm sure you could understand at how some of the other powers might feel a bit nervous if the guy who's already in first place ended up with twice the land of everyone else! I don't know if anyone has told you that about 20 turns ago, there was a request that went out to the other 9 powers, asking them to close borders with you to deny you intercontinental trade routes. It had some support but (obviously) was not agreed to by everyone. Some of the reasons that you would probably bring up for why people shouldn't do that (hurting our own tech pace, just making Lord Parkin and/or Locke stronger, etc.) were brought up. Even though we're a bit worried about how far you are ahead of us, I'm glad that it failed frankly - over here in Zululand we're also fairly susceptible to the "close borders" tactic and so I'm glad that no precedent was set there.
So what is your plan with all of WK's lands. Our thread has mentioned possibly jumping in to the war on your side. I'm sure that you've seen the power graphs and so you probably know that our army isn't QUITE as big as your :-) but we do have a few units. But one concern was that we didn't want to "steal" any land you felt was yours.
While I was thinking about it, I didn't know too if you felt like you were far enough ahead that you didn't really care what other civs thought about you. You played PB2, so you know probably better than us about how Speaker and Sullla went - after they beat off the original CoW, they just took out Jowy (and eventually athlete) with out any regard to what any of the other civs (nakor, slaze, whosit, etc) might think. They had you guys as an ally, but that was about it. So maybe you feel like you're at that point - I don't know. You surely have a good lead on the pack.
Anyways, I should be around off and on for the weekend if you want to try and catch me or just respond.
My response:
Quote:Unfortunately there has been quite a few days, when I haven't been too well available to chat and within 1 hour I'll head to bed.
Intresting news concerning the trade embargo. Could you reveal more info who initiated it and who were the biggest supportes? I highly appreacite the fact that you didn't support it and told us about it.
I don't think my position is nearly as strong as Spulla team had in PB2. There are still several other contenders that have a good chance on winning this besides us including you. We've just couple of cities more and still long war ahead of us that already has dragged us close to the bottom in the GNP department.
In general I think the war is going quite alright and we should be able to handle it. However I'm willing to discuss about your possible role and what would be your and our gains in case you would join. In every case we need to also discuss about our border in the area.

Bit worrying foreign news. Adlain is being under attack. I haven't yet spoken him, but his power is alarmingly low. We're not yet in a position to help.
Argos fell with just 1 warrior in it and Thebes should be captured next turn. There are only Archer and warrior currently. Spearman is most likely apperance at end turn, but I should have enough unless I get exceptionally unlucky.
I still didn't proceed in the north. I'll probably do that next turn.
I think we've enough military to finish WK so when the current military builds are finished I'll start peaceful builds.

Loads of screenshots, boatloads of screenshots. I never remember to take screens...
Not sure why rego is asking for WK land, WK doesn't have any land up there and look at that huge black fog blob he has anyway We could give him Thebes or something . It sucks we can't get to Adlain and I don't think we can convince anyone to intervene either.
Do we have Moogle's power? If I had to guess, he's probably around twice as powerful than Moogle assuming its only a little higher than average right now.

We don't have Moogle's graphs although he is the one we've been allocating points lately so it shouldn't take long to get them. I suspect Adlain has the last spot in power.

I asked from Adlain about the situation with Moogle. Apparently they'll sort it out, although Adlain will lose a city in the process.
Quote:Not alot tbh, he was (and is) pissed at my city placment and he has resolved to remove said city. Suffice to say im not happy but i have been cought with my pants down and cannot stop him from removing the city before i get my militry there with enough force to stop him. So i have come to a comprimise with moogle that while still involves me losing said city i get some compensation in the form of Luxurys.
But yea, not my best moment in the game, but its not a killer.

Sounds like Moogled called him on a pink dot so no worries short term.
