Yeah I noticed that. It was only when loading up the save to have a gander that I saw that we had produced a missionary.

That sounds like a plan. May as well while not having a religion.

Couple of notes.

Firstly, compared to T100, we now can get 55 more beakers per turn at 100% research. That's a pretty good improvement. It may not be totally like for like, depending on tile configurations, but it's a pretty good reflection of the effect of Bureaucracy plus growing into developed tiles, I would have thought.

Secondly, our NAP with Pegasus expires in T130. That's not all that far away, really. There are no power spikes appearing so I don't think that Pegasus really has much of a window of opportunity to strike against TT before our NAP ends (even though TT seems very weak right now). That said, he could be colluding with ad hoc for a double strike.

You're right, it doesn't seem like Pegasus is planning on using the opportunity to expand westwards. I really doubt that Ad Hoc is in shape for a double strike, he must still have a lot of peaceful catching up to do.

T105 in the books. We completed the Great Lighthouse at the end of the turn. I spread Christianity to Sailboats, and last turn Confucianism autospread to Pair of Hooks.

I started sending Ten of Clubs east to scout the southern parts of Pegasus's lands. He hasn't much to do in Zululand as long as TT is keeping his borders closed.

We successfully dealt with our offending barb. Jack of Clubs beat him flawlessly and now has 6/10 XP. Maybe give him a ferry ride north to try to get the final 4 XP. Ruff already has enabled his HE, the bastard. (At least that's what he says.)

What's the plan for the southern tile improvements? DMH, Kojak and PoH are all set to grow soon. Kojak can take the western mined hill and DMH can use its southern mined hill, but what is PoH going to use when it grows to size 2 while the workers are still chopping the forest?

The Confucianism spread in PoH is useful for getting the sheep hooked up earlier anyway.

I guess the plains forest until the hills have been mined. Maybe road the hills, mine the northern one, pasture the sheep. Whip forge with overflow to galley.
