Then the choices are Construction, Machinery and Calendar. If we're continuing with builder mode (which we are), and particularly given the resources on the other continent, then Calendar can follow.
It would be nice to subsequently go for Construction and Machinery to get something of an army together to keep Pegasus honest. We have 24 turns before our NAP runs out.
I can agree to this, although HBR might make sense in addition to or instead of Construction. Then if we want to tech builder techs, maybe Drama, Music, Paper and Education?
Food for thought: Our NAP expires in 24 turns, and at our current break-even tech rate we can get HBR and Guilds in 29 turns...
EDIT: It's a pity we have the promised lands, otherwise we could have tried to deal with "the Ruff problem" by securing a domination victory before T200.
I have to run.

Just curious - do you regret making this deal with Ruff with what you know now of how the game has panned out?
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

That's what I like to hear - a bit of ambition.

I don't. There is plenty more expanding that we can do. Having an almost completely safe border has enabled us to do that much more effectively so far.

Yeah, what he said.
Btw, Ad Hoc seems to have settled pretty aggressively on Ruff. Unless I'm misreading cultural borders over there.
I wonder if Ruff has investigate city on us. We should keep that in mind.

Is this why you are trying to impress him with micromanagement?

T107 played. Not much to report this turn - next turn will be more eventful, expect more screenshots then.
Here are Ad Hoc's borders. It looks to me like he founded a city between the cows and the flood plains, but I might be mistaken.
Pegasus's power is approaching ours. Last turn he built some units or discovered a military tech.

Or both. Perhaps he is starting to make a move.

Initial thoughts for settling the northern continent are 1S of horses and 2S of corn. Then possibly in between the two sugars.
We'll need a lot of worker labour to make use of the jungle.
