He can't have ritualists until he converts. Best he can do before that is to build savants in preparation for an upgrade.
Oh yeah. For some reason I thought you could build any priest regardless of state religion if you just had the specific temple in your city. Well, Mist has said that Uberfish has said that he will be getting Ritualists soon, and seeing that AV was founded 5 turns later or so, it does look pretty obvious.

Some info from Mist:
Quote:> Hi, I just wanted to get an update on that situation. Do you have an

No, no turn specified. We're discussing details of handover at the
moment. Which is tricky given I can't say anything about us being at
peace I'll keep you updated as soon as I get something definite.
> Just have a bad feeling about Uberfish, his power is spiking and
> there's not much for him to attack but me.
He was running very light military till now. Also priests have high
power value.
He does not make any noise about attacking you and I don't think he'd
go for it alone. My official stance in messages to him at the moment
is that I want peace to push out cities, we're talking about it and I
expect to eventually reach a deal. I also told him I unilaterally
ceased major aggressive actions.
He did say something interesting though. Ilios was sounding him again
about how our war is going. Uberfish was left with an impression that
our Messiah is seriously considering a backstab. Unless they agree to
split your lands I'd be more concerned about Malakim who have the
means to fight you and signed peace with everyone on their other
border.
> Also, how's the Serdoa situation?
Misunderstanding due to lack of communication. Life would be wonderful
if one didn't have to shake out words from him to know what's going on
*sigh*.
My questions in brown, his responses in cyan.
That makes it sound a bit better at least. We'll see what happens. No response from Ilios yet about the NAP lengthening.

Uberfish got trade, so let's look at the very depressing tech screen!
Uberfish is up: Animal Husbandry, Cartography, Fishing, Hunting, Mysticism, Sanitation, Writing, Knowledge of the Ether, Philosophy, Priesthood, Way of Forests, Horseback Riding, Trade, Military Strategy
I am up: Code of Laws, Masonry, Construction
Not surprising that he's so dominant compared to me. He doesn't have archery though.

Ilios wants to extend the NAP to t140 only, with renewal talk on t135. It's better than nothing, but it's also just 10 turns longer and will make it easy for Ilios to attack me at t140 since i'll only get 5 turns notice if he doesnt want to renew, so I'll have to start building up my military now anyways.

T140 also sucks because he can switch to raiders then I think.

Shouldn't be that bad since you've not built any roads, no?
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Writing in, decided to take Sanitation before maths, because math is 11 turns, sanitation is 6, and growing my cities with the help of sanitation will help me get through maths and engineering quicker

okay not much to talk about really. settler from mutanbo will settle in spot next turn. 2 or 3t until settler in ithralia done, will be settled in the forest south of the two warriors south of ithralia.
one more settler from somewhere, not sure if ithralia or mutanbo yet. leaning towards mutanbo so ithralia can grow when sanitation is in. that settler will go W of mutanbo, 3s 1 e of a sheep near mist
eco buildings elsewhere. cv finishing up market, will build with help of some chops a monument for some extra culture to take back the cotton that mist's city took. new cities for markets first, then monuments and sculptors studios. gonna need both culture buildings in all for the culture battle against ilios in east and mist in west. but probably markets first. also courthouses later. the three big cities ithralia, butanbo and tiaran will get libraries i think. also need to start up military build up again, in case of uberfish attack soon or ilios later (have t140 nap) WGs and catas. also a MG or two more. road network has started, will be sparse in case of ilios switch to raiders.
sorry if this post is a jumbled mess but it's very tiresome to type right now. ask if you need some clarification anywhere, but you might not even need to play a turn, since i dont have class until tuesday and will only stay home and rest.
gladly accept critique for this plan though. maybe more military focus instead in case something happens? but i think im already so far behind that i have to focus on economy for now even though that means leaving my defenses thin
