Yeah, I was thinking pretty much the same thing. If nothing else, I'd rather build LBs for MP, and there's a chance we use Knights in upcoming war.

New turn!
Vinland finished the Trading Post and starts on a Market.
Slaved the TP in Crossing II.
And then it was time to go to work.
Left micro for you.
We can consider getting Feudalism this turn by running at a deficit.

Did the little bit of micro that needed to be done, and hit end turn. No reason to burn that much gold just for Feudalism, though it may be worth running binary at this point since we've been better about paying close attention to the micro.
The next turn will roll shortly, but I'll submit this so I can post boost in true rego fashion.

New turn!
Greenland: Spearman -> Confucian Missionary (3)
Helluland: Forge -> Confucian Monastery (3) Really nothing else useful to build there.
Fishfood: Forge -> Courthouse (5)
Feel free to veto any of those builds, of course. Paradise is going to be one awfully sexy city when all is said and done. Lot of food there. Wish there was a better place to plant a stub city to share the banana.
Spread Confu with one of the missionaries, put the other one in the other galley, it can hit Dashboard Light next turn.
I did the limited micro that needed to be done, and moved almost no workers. I sent a worker over to finish that chop before resuming cottaging, but then we'll be slow building for quite a while. Might be worth it to swap to something else we can whip with overflow into it once the chop comes in rather than just slow building it forever. We'll get hit with hammer decay pretty quickly, however.
We can revolt next turn. As we don't need Caste for anything, might be worth doing 5T of Serfdom to help get the jungle sites up faster. I could be talked into staying in Slavery as well, however.
Cause I have nothing else to show, here's the demos:

Hey guys, seems like you're doing very well considering your leader/civ combo. I'd love to have seen how things would be now if you'd picked a more conventional leader/civ. Best of luck and thanks for the regular updates.

Third post in a row, rego eat your heart out.
We got this earlier today from plako. Interesting reading. I wonder who ratted rego/Locke out. (No, I don't, I'd put a billion dollars on LP.)
Quote:Hi,
How are things looking for you. It seems to me you've got your economy in quite good shape especially compared to our declining one.
I've heard some rumours concerning "stop Plako" initiatives. By any chance have you heard anything about it that you would be willing to share with us?
Best regards,
Plako
I'm not inclined to tell him anything, but I'm not sure he won't see through feigning ignorance. So how do we say yes we've heard some stuff but no we won't tell you? Or no we haven't heard anything but yes we have heard something. I still think we're more likely to go to war with plako down the road than not, and I still think rego makes the best potential partner for said aggression. So I don't want to sell him out. We could lie about the source? Or just completely ignore the email and hope he forgets?

Played the rest of the turn.
Most exciting news:
Next turn we'll find the horse/clams site and 2 turns after that the fish/whales.
Didn't end turn since I didn't knew if you wanted to take a look after the crash.
I'll get back to you on Rego and Plako tomorrow, promised!

Looks like everything is as I left it, so I ended turn. We have to name the next city Broccoli Pie though, I think.
BTW, appreciate the kind words Kyan. Just wish we had a little more land.
