I've only seen a few enemy vlads, and I don't think anybody here on RB normally plays vlad, so much of this is just guessing.
IMO, if you can get 3x Hextech Gunblades WITHOUT hurting the time it gets for you to get deathcap too much, its a fine build and makes your laning a lot stronger. However, unless you can pull off 100 CS at under 15 or so min, or do the split push sit top all day, you really are just better off going Spirit Visage, into Deathcap/Rylais.

The problem with the build at high Elo is that the laneing phase ends so early. Watch treeeskimo games the team is grouped up protecting objectives as early as lvl 7 or 8. I just don't think you could heal enough damage long term or deal enough in the short team fights to be worth it.

Yi's Q skill is broken, using it on monsters (Blue buff Golem and wolves atleast) sends you over the wall 
I saw a stream a couple of days ago with multiple revolver Vlad in it. Worked like a charm atleast in non-ranked lvl30 games. The build was only broken early and mid game tho, it was weak late.

I just checked the EU server since US is down and I can only choose "basic" bots in custom games.
Added a small tweak:
To make this challenge a little more interesting, I am adding a 1 minute penalty for every tower you lose.

Just an FYI that we'll try to do the Realms Beyond night again for League of Legends today. Last week was pretty successful, and hopefully we can keep it going. I plan to be online around 6:00pm EST, or a little over three hours from this post.
