[SPOILERS]Novice, Spacemanmf and Athlete4life10 are HUYANA CAPAC OF CHINA

Well, two turns in one day. That's very nice indeed. T118 now.

Right, well we're about to found our first overseas city, so I take another shot of the income & expenses page. Our GNP for reference is 403 (nearest rival: 192 - Pegasus aka Krill has had another spike).

And this is what it looks like after I found the city.

Expenses up 6 (maintenance/upkeep up 9 less 3 in unit costs), but gold (at 40%) up 7 and research up 11 beakers! And GNP jumps to 421.

Here is what the city looks like, to see why it had such a good effect. Look at all those juicy trade routes!

The extra effect will be for making some domestic trade routes increase from 1 cpt to 2. Maybe we don't need courthouses... lol

Oh yeah, and Paper due in 3 turns. Nice. Education to follow, which novice expects to take more like 10 turns (currently 13 turns with no pre-requisite). Might even be lower with all these boosted trade routes.

The mighty capital takes on another cottage at the cost of a turn off the Parthenon, but takes shorter time to grow. All our cities have a decent happy cap, although Pocket Bullets is a mere two pop from the health cap.

TT's chariot hangs around on our borders. Where have I seen that before? We should keep an eye but he can't threaten us yet. We can always emergency whip a spear if he sits on the diagonal.

With this scene, I favour putting a worker and a settler on the boat first (whcih we can do on T119), and sending them to the iron city. The returning galley can then pick up the other settler and another worker and head for the sheep site.

Ok, so our next Great Person is due: 40% Great Scientist, 60% Great Engineeer... what's it to be...?

Which will be used to rush the Apolostic Palace. Time to fire the specialists too.

City count:

We are on 12, with Pegasus still on 10, Ruff on 9, ad hoc on 8, but TT has leapt up from 7 to 9. (Howzat and In-Dipper are the two city names he went for.)

EPs:

We are still way behind everyone on allocating EPs, but we are in no danger of losing anyone's graphs at the moment.

Nice, I assume Poker hand is a placeholder name? We could name it Wheel since it has horses.

I guess the AP should be rushed in PB for the 2 great prophet points. If we want to speed up wonder production there we can give two cottages to NFD and DMH and work grass hills instead. As long as all the cottages are being worked.

I guess we settle that 1-tile island next turn?

Yeah, I had no inspiration late last night. Wheel sounds good to me. The only other ones I could think of were Ten Two and Seven Two Off Suit, which is too many letters (unless we remove the spaces or call it Seven Two OS).

NFD is growing into a riverside grassland cottage so doesn't need any others yet. I was going to send the two workers to chop the two riverside forests, which can be put into the market when they come in before switching back to the missionary.

I started the chop in Pair Of Hooks - what were you intending that for? I was going to chop out a worker. Top Kicker will grow into all improved tiles in 2 turns so it can switch to a worker then.

Yes, 1-tile island settles next turn. I sent the galley back to fetch an archer for defence, after which the galley can scout Ruff's coastline.

I had to whip a spear from scratch as TT was being annoying again. I offered him OB and told him to come in or go away.

Pegasus (or Krill?) has faith in us at least, he has 5 unguarded workers on our border.

Ruff built the Mahabohdi, Pegasus got a great scientist from Old Trafford, and Ruff stole currency from us.

Grrr, TT has moved to the diagonal. Whip a spear? I should have put a turn into one really.

EDIT: Hah, hadn't realised you had sneaked a post in between with the turn pics.

Ruff still has 800 or so EPs to use up. I was going to ask him when he was going to start stealing stuff.

Got it. And played.

What a nice turn. Worker and city management, and no war declarations.

Left some signs for Spaceman. After ending turn we discovered Paper and completed the Parthenon in Pocket Bullets. We'll rush the AP there with our Engineer next turn. Queued up some more Christian Missionaries.
