So what do you think we should do?

I still aim to win this game and it seems culture would suit us the best. We have to start going down the path quite soon. Basically we need to start our GA farm and get our Cathedrals up and our Cottage Cheese citiy improvements done as well as theatres. Shwend with its massive +8 will help too.

Of course we can have a compromise method where we still go to war with LP but that requires us to not be the primary source of drafting material. Locke is fairly close to rifles and could gift some to the cause and Rego could feasible do the same. In fact, it would be useful to approach Locke about slow building rifles and gifting them to us on T200. Likewise we need a commitment from Luddite. As for Rego, I've already talked to them about building ships.

I think the best way to prosecute a war is to have massive stacks at our border and assault his coastal cities in hopes of getting him to attack us. Hopefully we can achieve some sort of draw down on Luddite's second front in the 10 turns before he can join.

I think military road is the way to go.

My main candidate is to beeline to rifling while building lots of triple/double promoted CKNs. Draft/Build rifles ~T200 and attack ~T205. Meanwhile Nakor goes to Astro and we get boats from him against rifles. Hopefully we've enough of them early enough so that we can start razing campaign via forking coastal cities and put some pressure also through south. Luddite probably joins T210. We could approach Rego, but with lot of caution. No time schedules or anything like that should be told before we're sure we can trust him (if that is ever possible ). I would also probably keep Locke mostly out of the loop until very late.

But how does that allow us to win?

You're right it probably doesn't give us win. Fun factor is way higher though and LP's way of playing has really annoyed me to the point I just want a war.

I find it somewhat fitting if we get our revenge by getting peace and using his own BS against him to sneak out a culture win but that's just me.

Seems like Luddite is trying to recruit Locke into his own plan. I told him that it could be more efficient to instead do a massive dog pile, it would be more logistically sounds to have 2 medium sized dogpiles.

If he can get Locke in with troop commitments, then I fully support this.

No reponse from Rego and his power is raising and he is whipping a lot. It might be just wants to fight. I'll try to find out.

EP situation with Luddite handled. It was accident as I suspected. Elkad had allocated them to us.

I think we've a core of dogpile group now. Locke, Nakor and Luddite seem all quite intrested. I'll write some kind of terms and hopefully we can find a way so that it is fair to everyone and probably open forum for us so we could finally see a bit better organiozed dogpile. I'm not sure if it is enough when LP can build up in peace further 50T, but at least we try. Luddite had discussed also with Rego and mentioned about the dogpile possibility. Apparently Refo wasn't intrested. Also still no answer from Rego concerning long NAP. It is 3-4 days already from my previous message.
