Also, lol healsquad team of doom. Seriously. Taric, Soraka, Nid, Janna, ww has lifesteal. No one should EVER DIE except to massive burst.
Why would you put Taric, Janna and Soraka on the same team ?
Then you get terrible stuff like an AD Taric...Also interesting that all 10 players thought tanks were overrated

I have the worst luck, even with no interest in these I still didn't get a single win despite competing in every challenge

Shame about the low turnout. I always enjoyed the contests, thanks for hosting them
What character was the winning time set with?

The champion of pushing, Master Yi, of course .
The strategy for this particular run is to go 21/0/9 (honestly 30/0/0 would work too) and rush for Attack Speed items. Yi is really good at pushing with pure attack speed because of his doublestrike and his E ability, which gives a natural AD boost and doubles it on activation. With that, you can wreck towers really good, and destroy them once you hit 6. Combine that with the pushing ability of alpha strike, and it becomes even better.
You also want to run teleport/fortify. Fortify keeps your lanes up long enough to end it without losing too many towers. Teleport lets you rush mid immediately after dying. The strategy is to both farm mid's Bot and minions, while doing as much damage to the tower as possible. You push until you die, since going back takes about as much time as reviving from death early in the game, and that extra damage really helps.
Below are the images I submitted to the contest:
SR before nexus destruction. It's a pretty big picture too, so I'll just post the link. (Just barely captured this one)
The final results screen
I apparently didn't have LoLreplay running when I did this run, so I unfortunately don't have one.
I appreciate the contests Gustaran.

I guess I wasn't that far off the track then.
Master Yi? Check.
Offense masteries? Check.
Attack speed? Check.
Fortify / Teleport? Check.
Probably should have just pushed more. My game plan was to farm champion kills while defending towers first, push when I'm feeded. Obviously didn't really work out.

From what it sounds like, you went to the other lanes to save the towers and kill champions, either by using teleport or just running to lane.
The problem with that strategy is that you don't need many kills at all, so time you spend killing champions could be spent killing or damaging turrets. My only kills came from Mid - I never left that lane at all and just tried to push fast enough to keep my towers alive.
If you actually did the exact same thing as I did and have the replay, I can watch it and see where things went so differently.

I was using Sivir myself but only tried it 3 times. My 2 fastest runs were both average at best and could've gone over a minute faster.

Whoops, I forgot to report my time. My 'almost' best was 13:56 with 3 towers lost using Mordekaiser. I got inhib blocked on the last hit of the Nexus and raged hard and gave up. I think my actual best was around 15 plus 4 towers lost. I only tried 4 times.
Morde was pretty strong - he pushes creep waves so hard. He doesn't do enough damage to towers though. I agree that Yi was probably the best champ for this challenge.
Thanks for running these Gustaran! I think the larger time investment for some of the competitions played a role in the lower entries. Doing Dragon solo or farming 100 CS did not take much time. Running around for 15 minutes before Baron is a lot more work!
