Mr. Yellow Wrote:Thoth, what happened here?

You posted like a madman recently and then suddenly, silence.

I'd like an update on the current situation and the state of your empire.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, I've been a bit busy with RL stuff.

Not too much happening at the moment in game. I'll try and get an update/recap of the last few turns posted sometime this weekend.

Hope the RL stuff sorts itself out. Don't worry too much about the updates. Just wait untill you find something happening that leaves you cackling or something. That's when you should share the joy :-p

Hrm. I owe you folks an update RSN.

Not a lot happening....building...upgrading units...prepping for a nice peaceful win. That sort of thing. wink

Real pics and stuff coming soonish...

In the meantime, this is nice....

Sorry to dissapoint you Thoth, but Flatley is a yank. If he were Irish he'd have been beat black and blue ages ago.

Same thing.

The Yanks are the Irish of North America.

Many more Irish up north than there is in Yankeeville. Anyway I don't know why you want to give good associations to them.

Any intent to update us on your thoughts on the post-Infernal Pact world? smile
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Lots of stuff....but the game's been pretty slow of late due to technical issues ect.

I wasn't able to spot Hyborem on t144, so a quick kill doesn't look to be in the cards. Mardoc hasn't seen Hyborem either, so I'm guessing Hybie spawned somewhere out east (hopefully on the Sheam borders for some hell terrain fun wink )

I'm not very concerned about the Infernals at this point in the game. I've got a very solid defensive army and I'll be adding some fun toys to it over the next 15-20 turns. (Ritualists, Eidolons, a couple of Beasts, Rathas and Empy Priests as well as a few more Iron Stygians). I'll need to keep a close eye on the AC to ensure that I can switch back into AV for Sacrifice the Weak once Blight hits, but I'm planning a few more religion swaps over the next 15 turns.

I'm aiming to finish teching Infernal Pact at eot 145. Turn 146 I'll finally burn the GArtist from Drama for a Golden Age. Golden Igloo should be able to build the Grimoire in about 6 GA turns.

Around the rest of the empire I'll be building up a few more units and slamming out some super quick Org courthouses (I currently have 0 CHs in my 15 city empire).

Golden Lean To is starting work on The Pillar of Chains (which will be worth ~27h/turn once complete, effectively doubling my production in my capital) and will be my primary city for building the Towers. I can build the Tower of the Elements and the Tower of Divination concurrently. The Tower of Necromancy and the Tower of Alteration will have to be built in succession.

Current tech plans: Finish IP-->Engineering-->Poisons-->Religious Law-->Magic techs up to Arcane Lore-->turn off research and start cash rushing the 4 towers (using ToD to sling to Strength of Will).

Assuming that I'm not at the losing end of a mass dogpile, I should be finished teching by about t 170 or so. I'll need to crank some numbers and do a bit of WB testing, but I should be able to win a tower of Mastery victory by t 190 at the latest.

If and only if I can actually pull it off. wink

We'll see how things develop over the next 10-20 turns.
