Square Leg Wrote:Hey Ilios,
I know that times must be pretty shitty after putting so much effort into this game - but the peanuts would love to see things from your point of view.
Mr. Yellow Wrote:Come now Ilios, you're thread's been pretty awesome this far. You can't just end it with a whimper.
Show us now that you can continue this to the end. Prove the world that you are a man!

Now get in there and finish the fight!
Heh...
What can I say, there about a billion Spectres coming from the east (alright, about fifteen really). Has someone mentioned before that those Vampires are ridiculously overpowered?
My Heroic Epic city has been razed, and Lugh will probably be gone next turn as well. I whipped a Training Yard from scratch, in case Darrel wants to keep it (I doubt it though).
Sol Invictus has been captured, and Darrell main force is two turns from attacking the core (Horus).
Horus has upgraded two Archers, and I whip a Corpse from scratch.
In the West, two of my cities in the Luchuirp lands have been razed by Uberfish.
Unfortunately, I can only safely finish a Beast in Ra, hadn't counted on the disappearing culture while the city is in revolt.
So En-Kai whips a Corpse from scratch as well, instead of finishing the Beast.
Uberfish has about eight Leaves Priests incoming (who will be joined by 8 Tigers soon methinks).
I used the free Sage to fire of a Golden Age, and switch to Theocracy/StW/Military state/Conquest.
I upgrade a Stonewarden to an Eidolon, and have him join his three brothers in Helios, to prepare for the last stand.
I don't think I'll be able to hold Horus...
I think I could have held an attack from either side, even the Calabim's stupidly powerful Vampire stack, but this two-front war has pretty much sealed my fate...
Five more turns and I'd have had the troops to hold them off...
