Here is one write up, any criticisms or things I should add are welcome smile

Team Solo Mid - TSM

Number one seeds from North America, TSM has specific roles for all the players that they perform every game.

Reginald Team captain and the player that makes tactical calls in game. Plays the Ability power carry role on the team. Used to be the number one player on the north american servers. Has a self proclaimed 'aggressive playstyle' which can lead him into trouble but is probably one of the best players in the game in a 1v1 situation.
Main tournament characters: Vlad, Zilean, Malzahar

Chaox AD carry and responsible for picks and bans. A top ten player in US, he has also played a lot on the European servers so is the player on the team most likely to be aware of the European playstyles. Mostly plays a safe defensive game while farming really hard.
Main tournament characters: Corki, Ashe, Caitlyn, Vayne

Theoddone Jungler. Often regarded as the best jungler in the game. Has a slightly obsessive control over the jungle and will counterjungle the enemy heavily. Seems to know where the enemy jungler will be at any point and gets an early oracle to deny the enemy map control.
Main tournament characters: Nunu, Warwick, Trundle

Therainman Tank. A relatively recent addition, he got to rank one using teemo but plays the tank role almost exclusively for TSM. Seems to be a really solid and aggressive laner but I don't know too much about him.
Main tournament characters: Jarvan, Singed, Cho'gath

Xpecial Support. Plays either a non farming or roaming support. Mostly babysits bottom lane but will generally support all lanes. Nothing very flashy about his playstyle but is generally just very competent like you would hope a support player would be!
Main Tournament characters: Janna, Sona, Alistar, Soraka

Team Solo Mid used to be regarded as a team of five players that were very good at playing solos but were not good as a team and were firmly in second place behind CLG. Recently however they changed their lineup and started playing extensively as a 5 man team. They won a large percentage of the go4lol tournaments and settled into a rigid team structure where everyone knew their role. TSM are now the top seeded team from north america for a reason and should be a force to be reckoned with at Dreamhack. Their greatest strengths are unrivalled jungle control and excellent team coordination.

Probable bans against them: Nunu, Vlad, Zilean, Jarvan

Most important player: Most games Theoddone's map control is crucial

Developed a totally baseless and irrational dislike of Regi when he was regularly playing against Eski. But I was blown away by what I saw from TSM in the qualifiers - he's really damn good at quarterbacking.

I watched Reginald leading TSM in some of the earlier Go4LoLs and it was clear he was far ahead of the others in terms of map awareness and tactical decisions. I assume that was part of the motivation for the change in lineup, though obviously I think practice plays a big role as well. TSM may be the top seeds, but I don't think there's a clear leader in NA anymore: it used to be CLG, but in the Dreamhack qualifiers TSM and EG both played some very convincing games against each other.

I'm probably gonna get alot of rage tomorrow in solo queue. Tank Morgana. Yeah. It all makes sense now. That ulti becomes way easier to hit when ur in middle of the enemy team. Hitting that Q stun now? Easy mode. W still works as good as before. Program E for selfcast. Proceed to laugh at the enemy team when they always go for you out of habit.

It's not going to work.

Nice write-up, Enoch! Theoddone's jungle control is truly a sight to behold and combined with Reginald's leadership I think they are the favorites.

I'm pretty sure the only reason TheRainMan didn't play Teemo in any tourney games was that the enemy team always banned Teemo. Just like banning Westrice's Akali or HotshotGG's Nidalee, it's too risky to give a top player the one champ they play extremely well.

Actually, it can really screw over the solo queue. RoA + Frozen Crystal really screws with the enemy team, letting you tank it up with your magic shield.

Good write-up Enoch. Don't think there's anything I'd disagree with there. Regi's an exceptional player, no doubt. In the qualifiers, they switched to Chaox making the decisions a lot of the time, with predictably poor results, so switched back (and eventually won the tournament). Regi has much better map awareness and all-round tactical knowledge, and is one of the best in the game.

Not that irrational because although he is a great player he also comes across as a massive jackass! lol

They played Teemo in one competitive game recently and it wasn't that useful. I think the nerfs, the different environment of team games and the fact that it messes up the team's roles mean that he wouldn't be used.

Yeah they recently had some troubles with Rainman and then Chaox questioning calls and splitting the decision making. As you say it didn't go very well. Hopefully they will be fully back to just having Reginald do it as that is probably one of their greatest strengths.

Glad people liked the summary. I will get a write up done for Clg and Eg done later today.

His laidback attitude with all those "insults" flung around amuses me more than it annoys me, they are of more playful nature to me. And he actually made enough informative (to the best of his knowledge) commentaries or videos (such as the Shaco guide), so he's not a bad asset to the community.
