Not in the end no - we had a deal for him to get xp from razing a barb city - which he has done - and we talked about one day doing it via death mana or throwing fireballs at one another. (apparently you get 1xp for defending a fireball)

Look at my hero, my hero's amazing.... oh wait - he's in pieces again... waste of space good for nothing...... rant

I suspect he was attacked by barb warriors from a nearby city although I was under the impression they only attacked out when there were 4 of them. There weren't 4 when I moved him next to the city last turn. I suppose they built 1 inbetween turns and then attacked with the other 3 that were already there.

My smoke move really.

Honestly he should only lose half his experience or something when he dies.

He should have 1 base strength higher and he would be a lot better and be classed as living!

My power rating is going to be soooo low now barny has gone... lol

Haha, you completely jinxed yourself by laughing at the misfortunes of others earlier!

(Watch as I pop azers from a dungeon or get the Muris clan event on the few grasslands I have).

I can't imagine I would have done that! lol

Ok - lets see what happened:

So barny dies and my warrior survives:

1 more hit Barny! 1 more hit mate! lol

4 warriros attacked which means there must have been 4 there in the first place unless they can attack the turn they are built - which they can't. Big smoke by me then. As soon as they'd have left the city they would have been easy pickings... Gonna have to sharpen up! nod

Here is the standard F1 shot I'm going to try and take every turn:

Saved a turn of gold this turn and will run max science next turn to clean up Philosophy in 2t. WotW should be 1t and honor hopefully 4t after that. Then it is AH (1t) and HBR (2t).

Upgrade cost is 2*hammer difference +5g. (Thanks DaveV!)

A Ratha is 120h on quick.

A warrior is 16h = ((120 - 16)*2) + 5 = 213g

A Radiant Guard is 60h = ((120-60)*2) + 5 = 125g

Something else to remember is that the Empyrean temple gives +10% hammers.
Reply

Empyrean temples give +10% beakers, not hammers. (Order temples give +10% military production)

and Warriors can't upgrade to Radiant Guards/Rathas. wink

I blame xienwolfs manual for the temple mistake.

Looks like I'll be building Radiant Guards then!

I can still go for warrior -> Chariot however which will be ((80-16)*2) +5 = 133g

The manual is good, but very out of date unfortunately.
