Random thought- Iskender's secret plan to somehow win the game- could it be the same one I had to grab the remaining Sons? I can't ask him because that'd put the idea in his head if he didn't have it already, but it would be too funny if true =)
Also maybe I should tell Serdoa that the option is open for him. Iskender is surely in a better position to get to Gibbon first, but who knows... Of course, puppets were a large part of what made the plan work, combined with Summoner, so it might not even be possible for anyone else to kill Acheron & pull it off.

A random thought from me: can you research Cartography, open borders with Serdoa, and talk him into sending a stack of Pyre Zombies? I was thinking you really need collateral to bleed down the Sons a bit, and here are the best collateral units in the game sitting next door under the ownership of a friendly player.
PZs are too slow to take on a hasted stack, and much too slow to fight off the fire elementals, but it would give the OrcDar something to worry about, and could be decisive if they make a mistake.

No, the lurker thread isn't giving you _that_ hard of a time for this game.

Yeah, probably. I've just got a little residual bitterness left from PBEM I, where I still haven't read most of the lurker thread because of how disgusted I got with it.

Yet another random thought: you have a bunch of triremes sitting around doing nothing. Have you considered boating a few Orc cities? Or, there's always the ever-popular blockade option.

Already doing that Sent out a small raiding party as soon as I got the first turn. Boats will take a while to arrive tho- 2 moves are slow. I'm hoping to at least burn his island town.

"is it just me or is bob playing really terribly this entire game also why hasn't he won yet he's doing so well"
Yeah so basically if any lurker has a problem with what I do, they can invent a time machine, travel back to when they were typing up their criticism, and then go fuck themselves. Gifting a small island city isn't going to be the end of the world- that would be the four Sons of the Inferno.
Actually it's allways more fun If you read the lurkers thread "in time" So only look at the comments on what they think should be done from now on, when each post was made. Paints a better story. Plus you get to laugh if anyone contradicts themselves and says differently later on.

I've been told that my esteemed opponents are providing updates on the field, so I've about abandoned this thread, since I really would rather not spend any more time with the turns than is necessary to put up a semi-competent defense at this point.
Offered Serdoa my island cities, told him that if he wants to make a move on the Clan he might as well do it now, and suggested he might want to try the Gibbon Sons Domination trick for himself- sadly his army is 4 PZ, his techrate sucks, and he too stopped caring about the game a while back.
I'm honestly hoping that the Dynamic Duo will hurry up and kill me off. I feel like I'm in a weird moral position here- if this were any other game, I'd just type of "GG" and that would be it. But I'm "supposed" to keep fighting and make Tredje and Iskender really have to work for my empire- except, I think the game is totally hopeless, meaning that whoever wins won't be me or an ally, and I don't dislike either of my adversaries enough to really want to make taking me down painful for them. So I'm just sort of going through the motions here to maintain a competitive spirit which I'm not sure I've ever actually had. Blah.
Basically, don't expect me to update this thread much any more, if my recent lack of posting wasn't clear enough a sign already I'll probably maybe answer questions if anyone wants to know what's up with something I'm doing (the answer will be "I have no idea")
