It was just a thought, you don't have to be patronizing[3] dude.

Especially when I've already raging as hard as I am at putting together this stupid AM3 after 2 MBs and 3 corrupt Windows XP installs and dealing with Rego* who expects things to just fall into his hands.

*Mark my words, if I am ever in a game with Rego, I'm liable to focus everything on eliminating him from that game as fast as possible and calling it a day after.

Quote:Hi,

Apologies for the delay - it's hard to coordinate between both of us and for me it's taken awhile to get back into the game and get a good feel for what is going on. Plus I'm crazy busy in RL since I have to catch up on all the things I was ignoring while I was out on vacation.

In any case, I think that we are going to have to decline the NAP extension as currently proposed. Having said that, we don't really want to fight you (same as when we first had this conversation 30 or so turns ago). You can see the power graph, and with you approaching Rifling, it doesn't seem that attractive. It's hard enough to fight troops at the same tech level, much less against superior troops...

Up to you how many of your troops you feel you "need" against me and whether or not that hampers any other plans you might have.

I know this isn't the response you were hoping for but I should be around most of the day tomorrow if you want to chat

dan.

We go for mad with our fleet troops. If Rego attacks us, we burn down his cities one by one since we'll have much more material than he has as well as production base and drafting base. Like I told the alliance, he knows this, he won't attack until we fully commit into LP and win or lose.

No gifting to allies. However I could consider giving a city or 2 to Rego to buy us long NAP and maybe some troops. Mobility promoted rifles could be useful.

Rego has probably just given up winning and tries to find out ways to have fun with this game. He seems to like LP more than us.

This is quite true...I apologize. Not nice of me, especially during such a stressful time in the game.

I suppose the 'distract' by sucking him into diplo strategy that I had backfired. Too bad I couldn't get LP in on that game. I suppose if you want to offer him the cities, that would be good. I'll just go on thinking about how to knee cap him if he does anything annoying.

No worries darrelljs, IRL stuff is annoying. lol

Another turn played. I decide to take Theology before starting golden age and convert to Theocracy and possibly Vassalage at the 1st turn. I'm building solely units so OR is unnescessary.

LP is catching up pretty quick in power. More concerned about the rego power though.

I'm not too worried about Rego's power. It hasn't been raising that much lately. The problem comes when we've most of our troops occupied elsewhere.

Golden Age, Theocracy and units built almost everywhere.

LP is already #1 in power. This will be very hard, but at least we've forced him to build some military. It doesn't seem to slow him down much though.

If we can retain naval superiority, he won't be able to use his massive soldier count effectively. This is why our primary target needs to be the area around Evermore, with 6 move ships, we will be able to hit about 4 targets in a very constricted space.

The only real way LP can defend this is to counter attack the landing with overwhelming force by sacrificing cities and somehow having his forces in the right place. This is why its so strange he's going for infantry instead of railroads....

LP might get both before T200 and still might take railroad before Aseembly line.

Military built pretty much everywhere:

Our chances of winning even after succesful campaign will be very low frown. Nevertheless this is our only even remote chance to go on fully on military.
