The silence is starting to get to me... Is the map just THAT huge or am I just Miles away from everyone?

21 turns and no contact probably means that the map is big, or that you have been placed some distance from your opponents. If your neighbors are, in fact, far off, wouldn't that be to your advantage? You could expand quickly without worrying about barbs, and you can start raising the AC counter at your own leisure.

The AC shuffle is pretty hard to stop at the best of times, since a large part of it consists of building troops as fast as possible.

Long term I suppose it will be an advantage, but I like to know things... It's why i'm allway tempted to try and grab hunting just because I love those darn Hawks so much.

The size is insane. Just to the East there is enough space for 6-8 cities. If that is the same in the West I could have a 20 city empire mid game before by borders start bumping into other nations.

One question about game mechanics:

I tried to utilize the Warrens/Prophecy of Ragnarok to spam units and raise the AC. To my disappointment the AC was only raised by one for every two units built (even if it said the second unit was carrying a mark.) Is it correct that the extra unit provided by Warrens doesn't contribute to the AC?

There is a difference between the apocalypse count and the percentage number displayed. Check the raw figure by mouseovering the button. It should go up by 1 for each marked unit.

Selrahc is right, i'll check the Raw number next turn so that I have an idea of how much it will raise per Marker Unit.

The Marks themselves will be very good, but also will spreading Ashen Veil quickly to all of my cities along with Summoning the Infernals will help as well. I'll try and work out some rough numbers next turn...

If I remember it's +1 Per city with Ashen Veil, The Same as each Marked unit. Combine a marked city defender with each city and I should have +2 Per city before even figuring out special buildings or units.

My hope is that I will get to the 30 mark when Summoning the Infernals so that while others suffer i can switch to "sacrifice the Weak" Then while everyone else is scrambling to survive, the infernal expansion combined with the Prophcy Mark City pumping units will start to get the horsemen out.

Turn 22

The Best turn ever! Mork feel jealous because he does nothing wandering around while stuff happens back at home. Next turn Crafting will be in and from the looks of things I will be better off growing to size 5 in the capital before starting the settler. Mining still takes awhile.

The Wolf Rider is Born!

The Wolf suicides onto Cork our resident Green Goblin and emerges triumphant! Unfortunatly while riding a wolf Cork is no longer able to spot the invisable Spiderman... He promptly legs it home to heal. This should be a nice protector for the settler while moving and will boost my Power Rating to make the Rivals more Wary.

Demographs: #1 Army

Best Army! Although it is worrying why someone else needs such a large army so early... There are no lairs to pop after all. Maybe they just have high production and have been building nothing but warriors after the worker start?

Just wanted to say, really enjoying the thread, Ravus.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Thanks Gasper! I'm trying to make it as presentable as possible. Hopefully it will stay fun even during the boring settler building period.
