No - I was referring to the mine that is supplying earth mana. I see what has happened now though by checking some old screenshots. It used to be a raw node that had a mine on it but it has now been converted to an Earth node - the only thing is the graphic hasn't updated.

Yeah me too - I'll feel a lot safer with a bit of military built up. It might persuade Tredje to go elsewhere on T140, especially if he hasn't finished with Bob.

I'm starting to think that my limited hammers and gold is going to be better spent on building Mobility Radiant Guard rather than upgarding them to Ratha's and using the money I save, in upgrading warrior's to chariot's.

Have to have a think...

Decided that Sanitation is the "one right choice" ™

Totoro completed its settler Eot 125 and so the settler waltzed south on its way to found the city near the Gems. Gems is a really cool resource for us since it is the doubler for the Temple of Kilmorph. It will therefore give an additional +2 smile in most cities.

Growing to that happy cap is slow, especially now that I am struggling with the health cap a little. Sooo, more food is the answer! It will also mean that I'll be able to work more hammer heavy tiles and increase production.

Well - the Clan have captured the CoE holy city:

Hopefully they razed it but the AC has stayed the same at 17.

Will found honor next turn and found a new city the turn after that.

Completed a Wood Golem in Totoro and started a Granary. Borders popped at Kobe but nothing really to note. Kobe will be happy again once the studio finishes next turn - I really hope Empyrean gets founded here.

I understand why as it can't be easy having played for so long to only go and lose it to intsa-broken-troops, but still, come on dude! So the turns are shitty, I still enjoyed every minute of fighting Serdoa, even if it was depressing everytime I opened up the save and saw all the dead stuff. Imagine if Churchill had this attitude in WW2... I'd be fashioning a small moustache and a sideways haircut now instead of my bowler hat, polkadot bow tie and freshly rolled cigar.

Good point although I'd need hunting and a lodge to be able to do that.

Actually - I said this to try and give Bob some fire in his belly but it didn't really work. I don't think it would be worth the hassle as the end of the day. Maybe Bob is right and this game is already won, I know that myself, Iskender and tredje are still interested in playing it. Serdoa is going through the motions, but again, I don't know why he isn't trying harder.

So between us, Bob and I managed to hold the game up for 2 days! bang Looks like I won't be getting another turn in before I go on holiday tomorrow.

So, time for a detailed plan eh? Not quite... lol

A lot depends on where Empyrean is founded but if the RNG loves me, it will be founded in Kobe. If the RNG hates me it will be in Ponyo. Regardless - the Ecclesiastic should spread the religion to Kobe if it isn't founded there. Otherwise, please send him to the new city in the south (more on that in a sec) and spread the religion there. This will let it pop its borders without the need for infrastructure.

Here is a city by city rough guide - plako - I trust your judgement where what I put here isn't realistic or if circumstances mean that it isn't possible.

Totoro

Build - I want to make Totoro a military centre. It should build either warriors/wood golems until KotE is in and here is where I'd like the mage guild to go. It should then try and get 2-3 adepts pronto. Before building the adepts, please request Enchantment mana from Iskender and offer him our only silk in return. That should net off the happiness he will be missing from the loan and we will get another +1 smile from the enchantment mana - it is stackable. This will give us Enchantment I on our adepts for free. Save the other promotion for now.

Focus - Hammers for now - then growth when Sanitation comes in - then back onto hammers! Something I have considered is hiring a load of specialists and rushing to the next GP. If it is anything other than a GE, I would use it for a GA. I'm not sure if that is necessary though, the production now might be more in need.

Valley of the Wind

Siege - I'd like to get some catapults here for collateral. Remember those catapults will get 80% withdrawal odds and can be repaired by our adepts. Very cool. 2-3 will be good, if not more - see how it looks and maybe squeeze out a chariot or warrior -> chariot upgrade instead.

Focus - There are some health issues a VotW.... Sanitation should allow you to work 3 PH mines though and get some better hammer numbers out - please do that.

Kobe

Now - If Empyrean founds here, please spam Radiant Guard. There are some plains forests that maybe need lumbermilling for it to realise its full potential. They should all take Mobility as their 2xp promo once HBR is in. Some of these can be upgraded to Ratha at Valley of the Wind if needed - in that case - maybe mobility isn't necessary. It may make a nice surprise though if Tredje is only expecting 3 move units....

Focus - Growth onto hammer tiles. Happy cap isn't great here as it doesn't have RoK temple but gems and the sculpture studio will take it to 10 at which size it can work some good hammer tiles.

Ponyo

Warriors - do your best but my thinking is that this city is best provding as much commerce -> cash rush and building warriors -> chariots.

Focus - food and commerce

Earthsea

Warriors for now but this city has some decent hammer potential once it grows and some lumbermills are thrown down. If you think it is possible, it may be worth spreading Empyrean here too and building Radiant Guard.

Focus - Growth for now but it will need some worker atytention for when it grows so that it can spill out hammers once a bit bigger. It has a great happy cap due to the Remnants of Patria.

Howls Castle

Get a market here asap and then grow whilse building warriors. May be worth building a pallisade? Dunno. See how you feel.

Focus - Growth and Commerce

Porco Rosso

Where? wink Please found this city on the spot indicated - Mud Golems need to get those gems online asap - then spread grassland farms all over the shop. Save any plain tiles for lumbermills. It should get a border pop from the Ecclesiastic spreading Empy so build a market and then warriors.

If things go really well and the turns fly, please will you hold up the game on T137 and wait for me to get back? I'd really like to be playing again to handle any potential conflict with the Clan.

Something that may come up is the Clan wanting an extention to our NAP. It is currently T140. I'm not intending on extending it. Don't bring it up with them unless they ask! wink

We have a nap with Serdoa till T200 and a nap with Iskender until T150. I would happily extend the nap with Iskender to T175 if he should ask.

We are currently getting horse and ale from Serdoa and giving him Corn - I'd like that to continue.

We are currently trading silk - Cotton with Bob. There are some turns left of compulsary (10t min trade). Please keep this going for now. Once we have done the Enchantment mana - Silk trade with iskender it may be worth cancelling the trade with bob and re-opening it with iskender instead since he won't be dead... smile
