More at risk of losing Gibbon the first time, and there are contingency plans if that happens.

Yeah, so me, Krill and Bob have discussions over gmail. I go to buy KFC. I return and Krill has macro sorted for the entire game. If Carlsberg made team mates...

If we lose Gibbon, we divert to Hemah. We lose the 'vitalize' stage but gain a stronger archmage overall plus cultists and another water mana from the OO shrine.
Plus anybody else's version of gibbon is a joke compared to ours.

I would be more worried about missing the free Great Commander anyway. All of your opponents have good reasons to try to grab him first (especially Nic), and if any of them decide to make a beeline for military strat you might be in some trouble.

I think Beelining Mil Strat after CoL actually makes the most sense. Rawking is 6 turns ahead of us and just got into Aristocracy, but only has 2 cities. We're almost at 5, the next 2 cities shouldn't cost us more than 2 or 3 gold due to paying unit costs, and Aristocracy is going to push our breakeven bpt up to about 45bpt, and we are 15 turns from an Academy.

Nice plan. I don't know much about FFH but I think this is how you're supposed to play it.
I have to run.

Sure it is!
(All of the skeletons and all but two of the puppets came from the adepts- there should actually be more of both, but the pic was taken after some of the adepts finished at EoT)

I think that Flauros < Keelyn now. Especially if you get 3 mana res. 5 is just going to be unholy.

I have to agree with this.

Quick question. If I have 3 death mana and I build a vampire, I still don't get Death2, right? I think not, but not sure.
Another interesting point is I think Balseraphs are actually better than the Amurites for magic, even though the Amurites are geared entirely to abusing it with their Hero, leader traits and UB. Puppets are just awesome, better than a free spellstaff.
