[SPOILERS]Novice, Spacemanmf and Athlete4life10 are HUYANA CAPAC OF CHINA

Nice work. I had loaded up the previous save to have a look around and noticed the CKN. Took me a short while to figure out how it had got there...

I presume our 9/10 XP axe is still alive - any sign of any barbs there?

We're getting hammered on EPs then - is it worth whipping any courthouses to compete (before we move to Theo)?

No barbs, unfortunately.

My gut says its better to just use the espionage slider. One turn of espionage will give us the upper hand immediately.
I have to run.

Yeah, you're probably right, since we are constrained more by production than we are by commerce.

Okay, T141 played. Our cities are building stables and barracks at the moment, two cities are on military. So our wardec will probably not come at T148.

The most interesting thing that happened this turn was what happened after ending turn. Oxford University finished in our capital, and we got a great prophet from the wonders there.

So now we have a Great Artist (from Music) and a Great Prophet on hand. We're leaning towards using both on Golden Ages.

We're thinking about going max science now (for ~800 bpt) and burn through our 1500 gold (should last us 7 turns). We're going to research Guilds (2t), Engineering (2t), Philosophy (1t), Nationalism (4t). Also need Gunpowder (1.5t). Ideally we'll get all of those, then fire a golden age and run Nationhood and Theocracy (EDIT: and Hereditary Rule, heh) during the Golden Age, draft some muskets for homeland defense, and revolt back to Bureaucracy at the end of the Golden Age. Meanwhile research Military Tradition and upgrade our knights to Cuirassiers. After that it's Alphabet, Printing Press, Replaceable Parts and Rifling for Cavalry. All the while sandbagging Liberalism?

Then fire another Golden Age, revolt to Nationhood, and draft rifles. And head for Steel.

And also possible detours for Optics & Compass. And maybe Astronomy.

And we need Banking.

Opened the save and we have another AP vote again. Options are to stop trading with ad hoc or TT, or to declare war on TT. Or do nothing.

I decide to do nothing - maybe next time...

Our southern navy continues to venture forwards. Firstly, our mace-laden galley.

And our trireme, fruitlessly trying to catch the galley up.

Some screenshots of our land. Firstly, the east. I put the Great Artist in Big Slick rather than Speed Limit, which is where I think we should stockpile our troops (save for a decent defence in Speed Limit), since Pegasus will be able to have a look in Speed Limit with a mounted unit. I send Speed Limit's archer eastward for military police duty and send a CKN to Speed Limit to replace it. The capital starts on a 7-turn UoS, which can be sped up by 1 turn with the plains hill if needed.

The south. I whipped a catapult in Kojak as instructed - lots of builds completing soon. I set DMH on a catapult, waiting for Guilds. We have two sentry chariots - maybe we could build more but it seems a waste.

A new city is founded in the east. Top Kicker has too much overflow to build the stable next so maybe overflow into a Christian temple first then switch to build the stable, then back to the temple which will complete.

Finally, in the north, our three cities are shaping up reasonably well, although Double Gutter 2 has to work an unimproved grassland tile for now. There's a decent enough defence up there now.

Power graph. Nothing too concerning yet. Ours should start to head skywards over the next 5+ turns.

Max science-fuelled GNP (over 800 beakers). We have a comfortable MFG edge too.

Here is the summary of our units. I like the mini-map on this.

Ruff is short a fair few techs, although he has plenty of EPs saved up (1,766). That includes Metal Casting, which is a little surprising. The only tech not shown that he can research is Engineering, which he is waiting for us to complete of course.

Talking of EPs, Pegasus has over 500 on us and we need lots of EPs to get city visibility.
