Yeah, if there's enough on and I'm around I'll usually set up a custom game regardless of what night it is. Me/Cull/Dantski/Seyruun/Atlas etc. tend to play together whenever we're all there, so come and join us smile

Was testing out WW, and his q costs more mana now per lvl as well. Ninja nerfing?

First GP, now Yorick. It seems like the only method Riot has for fixing broken characters is to make them incredibly OP.

Looks like it. The Q nerf is quite a heavy nerf to Lanewick's early levels but not that bad later on. I normally end up getting glacial shroud and spirit visage early anyway so it ends up being ok. I think this was an example of a pretty good nerf really.

The main problem is that there are some really overpowered solo laners out there at the minute like Udyr and Gangplank so lanewick feels a bit weaker than he used to. Still barrels of fun if you get a lane against a squishy though.

His ult seems like it would make him really hard to balance. Irrespective of the rest of his kit being able to duplicate your ranged ad carry is a really powerful ability. But generally making two characters go from never picked to always banned at top levels is pretty impressive smile

I thought he was supposed to be a terrible laner ? What would be a possible skilling order & items for lane Udyr ?

Udyr lane op. Turtle procing on Wriggles too op.

something like w-q-w-e. lvl w>q>e>r until you have lvl 3 in bear, then max phoenix. start either regrowth pend or cloth normally. make philo if pend, wriggles almost no matter what. Stay in lane for ages. Do massive dps with Trinty. Build is something like philo-wriggles-whatever boots-trinty-WHATEVER!~!~!. Can skip philo.

Win everything. One of the top solo laners right now that people know of, constant ban/first pick in the streams IIRC.

Between Tiger, Turtle, and Bear, he's like Jax with better sustain. Tiger puts out so much damage and Turtle stance makes you tanky even at low levels. One of the best top laners in the game at the moment. TheRainMan has been running him a lot so you may be able to watch it in action on his stream (although he rages too much for my tastes).

The basic skill order goes QWQE or QWEQ. Start cloth armor + 5 pots and rush Wriggles (after boots). Wriggles procs work with Turtle heal so his midgame sustain is ridiculous.

The large buffs to his mana costs make this doable at all levels which is why Lane Udyr is now a thing.

Edit: I'm pretty sure maxing Tiger first is the key to lane success. It is way too much damage for anyone to take at levels 3-4. Constant harass / zoning = win lane.

Lane Udyr is really strong right now. Turtle stance means you have amazing lane sustainability and Tiger puts out a fairly obscene amount of damage.

I have only noodled around with it a bit but I think if you want to do it optimally you need at least some flat Ad runes and run 21 offence.

Item build is either boots or cloth armour to start > Wriggle's > tanky and triforce.

Once you get Wriggle's you will basically never have to leave lane due to the bonus damage counting for turtle stance. So assuming level 3 turtle stance your basic attacks will be giving you something like 40 health and 12 mana back and 1 in 5 will give you an extra 80 health and 60 mana! By level 9 you would probably have 5 levels in tiger 1 in bear and 3 in turtle so you would have a 140 damage shield, great sustain, a speed boost/stun and tiger stance would be hitting for ~ 400 damage. Works out pretty nice.

It is one of those things though that only really makes sense if you play it or play against one. Having a skirmish and then watching the other guy almost full heal off one wave is a bit of an eye opener.

Edit: Double beaten! Yeah Tiger is definitely the go to at the minute, you want the single target burst for harassing.

pretty sure turtle for INSANE def play. Iunno. I guess it depends from lane to lane. Lvl 3+ turtle is just so absurd with wriggles procs. Its like laning against teemo with pre-nerf wriggles who had a spammable shield as well. I think like getting turtle to lane v rumble, or brand would make sense, but I coudl see tiger v weaker laners.
