In my game, I eliminated Tokugawa in maybe the 1600 or 1700s, and by his capital he had cottaged over an iron resource - it looked like he hadn't even researched iron working!!
Nice going. That is indeed the slowest Oracle I have ever seen.

I had an excellent time playing this game.
![]() The remark might require updating or some explanation. I meant that commerce, resarch and food aren't going ot win me the game in the beginning. What is food and lots of money without the shields to build units to protect your lands even with warriors ? When my lands are safe ® from conquest I did go cottages and heavy researching. I might have forgotten to mention that in my report. This picture shows matured cottages though: http://img104.imageshack.us/img104/5127/e6023uz9.jpg. Other cities had them as well.
