Springtime for Commodore in Germany

Also, I could be paranoid. It might have something to do with the fact that in another game I'm the Germanic Holy Roman Empire at war with France.

Quote:Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't been doing much to help coordinate. I just haven't been investing a lot of time into this game- I wanted a taste of Diplomacy, and I don't think that it's my kind of game :P

Anyway enough about my whiny feelings. Either of the options that Commodore suggests sounds good to me, regarding my fleets. I was actually going to do the Mao - Irish Sea and Bre- Eng move pair you suggested, for pretty much the same reason. If I can get into the channel as well, then I can support you at London. I don't mind having Liverpool instead of London, although I think it would be fairly easy for us to just trade territories too, after we've made our initial captures. Either way is fine with me.

After England, do you guys have any plans for TT? We all border him, so I think we could overwhelm him fairly easily, especially since we all either have reasonably substantial forces on his borders or can get them there in short order.

TT sent:

Quote:Hey Commodore,

I am starting to worry that a juggernaut alliance may be brewing. Both didn't move for the Black Sea so there must have been some agreement to let that happen. Gaspar has already failed in a stab against me as well so I am pretty sure of it.

We must be very careful about Fall moves as I will almost definitely need your support for my Vienna unit. Chats may be difficult as I am working at another summer school from tomorrow but i'll do what I can.

I first sent off to Gaspar:

Quote:So, question: Inept stab or inept support? The German people would like to know. Because unfortunately, right now it looks like you've stabbed two folks at once. frown

Then to TT:

Quote:Hey TT,

Not sure if you've been following the North Sea Drama much, but it looks like I got stabbed there too. Unless he has a really good explanation, it's "rededicate everything to destroy Gaspar" time. I can see the support area, but how about the more aggressive support-cutting of me moving Mun-Sil, then you support me Boh-Gal. I can take Warsaw the next turn, and you'll still be supported enough to keep Vie and Tri.

So. I've been abysmal at updating here, I know. The big three all seem fairly apathetic, interestingly enough, and if France tries to screw me right now I'm more or less doomed. However, some thoughts here.

Warsaw should be mine. Unless Italy and Russia start working together, I'm going to slug my way forward into the east without much issue.

My poor, poor Munich is going to remain uncovered this year. I might be able to convince Italy and France to bounce each-other there. That's living dangerously, to be sure, but it's double-down time here.

The west is fairly solid, it's just going to be a guessing game to see where each player jumps. Question, can Hel move towards the Baltic without passing through Denmark? It's a bit confusing there.
