Ok, so Pegasus (aka Krill) has closed borders, fairly predictably, and his EPs on us are quite high, almost to the point where we can't see his demographics.

100% espionage gets us 500 EPs - we don't need that unless we want to see his research - we just want to avoid losing his demographics, plus avoid him being able to see our cities. Maintenance is pretty low so not cost effective to build courthouses, a point you have made previously.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

Right. Spaceman covered the turn's major points. Here's our current army:

Yeah... Not quite ready for war yet, so we'll continue our buildup. A CGII Longbow in Britannia defends at 17.10 strength, and an unpromoted knight has 3.6% odds. We can also expect the cultural defenses to increase to 60%, which would bring the defender to 18.30 strength.

So we need more cats, some kamikaze units, and/or stronger units. Well, we'll research Nationalism->Gunpowder->Military Tradition and upgrade our knights to cuirassiers. Draft some muskets and build some cats. That should be able to make headway.

The signs in the screenshot shows Pegasus's unit disposition on T146, as spotted by our now expelled sentry chariot.

Only this one from last turn, sorry.

Anything in particular you wanted to know?

By the way, I queued a settler in Broadway, but given our imminent switch to Theocracy a missionary might be better. I also microed to finish the 7th pavillion at the end of T148. That means we can whip the Barracks in Sailboats next turn (T148) and overflow to Globe Theatre.

Just curious regarding some of the builds. What did you start in Wheel?

I wasn't sure what to build. I think I ended up selecting a library.

Me too! It was either that or a barracks really, I felt.

I agree with getting a missionary into one of those northern cities asap (both if possible but probably not) so we can build a Christian monastery/temple in there.

The cities can grow a bit before building settlers, although I did put the chop going straight into a settler since I think we lost hammers on the Pavilion otherwise.
