Pitboss 6 Planning Thread

What about every team having their own subforum. They can organize it, just the way they want there. Even everything on 1 thread.

Any reason not to let this be up to the team? I don't see why it has to be uniform.

A maximum of 4 threads per team if we're worried about clutter (i.e., one for all three of them, and individual threads for each of them if they want, with free access for all), and let teams sort out how they want to manage it.

Me, I think 4 threads is somewhat helpful as a lurker, but it may not be as helpful as a player. Up to you.

How about we have password protected subforums with multiple threads so we can keep lines of thought separate? Plako's forum for the alliance was really helpful.

Post the passwords in the lurker thread so the lurkers can access.

I'm not inclined to use passwords. I think this community is built on trust and it has worked well so far. As soon as we start setting passwords, it sends a message and changes the culture.

Passwords are not a terrible idea, but I agree with Dazed that they kinda are against the spirit of the community. Plus, I don't think many lurkers will be keen on having to use a password every time they want to check on the game. I know I wouldn't. Let's just go with each team having its own sub-forum.

I'm not sure what the forum software was but I was under the impression that the only way to remove the 'Last Post' stuff was to password protect.

Why does the last post stuff matter?

I guess it would be bad if you saw something like "last post in 'Shoot the Moon invasion plans'"
