Amurite adepts are awesome scouts if paired with a normal scout. Haste and floating eye mean you can avoid or run away and the regular scout can giant spiders.

Goddamn River of Blood delayed my settler for 2 turns. Apart from that... Well this screenshot should show everything...

Yup they're regrowing. They'll regrow back to 6/4 in 2 turns, as in the end of next turn.

Maybe i have too much farms?

I want runes first for the shrine, and the extra commerce it gives me. Thanks to philosophical i can get a GP quite easily, and thus i can stack the religion on top of the shrine. I'm just hoping i get it first.

The reason why i need the runes is because mages are slightly expensive. I will need some sort of commerce to even get a ton of mages upgraded from adepts, and runes seemed like the best fit.

And because i don't want to go OO again.

How far do you think you are from founding Runes? I ask because the conventional wisdom seems to be that it's the best religion for the Clan of Embers (because of warrens Soldiers of Kilmorph, basically) too, although they probably aren't beelining it.

Very frankly? CoE isn't a problem in racing. They're almost useless on the tech wins part. The rest of them are beelining CoL, with the exception of the elves who are heading for FoL. I'm not going to lose this race since the only one i'm actually racing with is gimped in the first place technology wise.
