Adventure 11 - Paleman's loss

A fun game, but man was it tough. I was a bit out of my league on this one.

For those who don't want to read a detailed report only to find out it was a loss, I lost to a spaceship launch in 1945. I wrote up a detailed report anyway to try and learn from the game, so might as well post it.

I truly appreciate the full report on a loss. But a suggestion for next time, dont put "loss" in your title, as I feel that may distract some people from opening your thread at all .

Alex picking up taoism was truly a tough break, the other continent picked up Philosophy in my game in 1360 BC courtesy of oracle -> Philsophy slingshot. Even without that, AD times for philosophy is pretty late, since one AI will usually beeline to it if the religion hasnt been founded.

Qwack - thanks for the advice. I'll take it next time I lose.

Jonottowa - Cathy gave me her clam literally the turn after our PA went into effect. It was significant to the game as a substantial representation of our new bond. I can't be blamed if it also happens to be a great double entendre.
