Astronaut without sin confounds press, invites trio to control civilization

Egypt was still there so I claimed it. smile Only better thing than what we got might have been going first to get Suryavarman but I think I'm happiest with this outcome.

We don't have a particularly obscure leader or civ. Nevertheless they're both extremely solid and I think we'll have plenty of options for playing them in a cool and interesting way by building off that foundation (and because spiritual can be pretty interesting).

Here's the updated sim with our leader/civ pick now final. I also made it even harder than before for the AIs to research religions out from under us.

Hang on, Egypt? What about....

No, that's fine, just kidding.

I've started reading your joint thread on PBEM19. I can see that I'll be safe with two skilled micro-planners.

I'll just sit back, relax and watch the micromanagement commence!

We should decide the following:

* What time do we want to play at? I was thinking during the evening for you guys / around noon for me. So like during GMT 1800-2200 maybe. Would that work?

* What's our team email? We can reuse novice.spaceman if you give me the password or set up a new one, I don't really care personally.

P.S. I'm expecting one of the last two creative civs to pick Maya but I hope they don't.

That window works for me. We can use the novice.spaceman address and set up forwarding rules, perhaps? And post got its here before playing?

Isabella of Egypt is a pretty good outcome from the snake pick.

That timeframe is good for me. And I would prefer to use the novice.spacemanmf account so we could just give you the password.

What are our optimization criteria?
Do we want a religion? Yes/No
If so, do we want an early shrine? Yes/No
Do we want stonehenge? Yes/No
Do we want more settlers and workers? Yes

When do we need a strategic resource hooked up?
I have to run.

Right, on naming conventions, we can go with stars. There are different lists of stars on Wikipedia, but these seem to be most reasonably named.

Or we can go for the more catchily titled gravitationally rounded objects of the Solar System.

But one city has to be named Alpha Centauri smile. Oh and anything besides a spaceship-win has to be considered a loss for you wink
