Haha Soraka OP goddess.. Bot was 1v2, AD Soraka vs Vayne and Xin, Soraka killed Vayne twice (without any turret fire involved) and made her ragequit.

Sorry, I should have said the playstyle was "sit in bush and heal" but that Riot seemed to object to the "sit in the bush" part alone.

They said that there is 1.5 mill viewers.... Has never gone over 60,000. Unless they mean total views, Which would be caused by a lot of people refreshing cause their stream is crud.

Its total views.
How is the stream "crud"? The commentary isn't great, just pretty basic commentary, but the stream is fine for me. Its not AMAZING quality, but its pretty good IMO.

They had a lot of lag issues earlier which appear worked out now. The stream was lagging the game for the players too, which was pretty silly. At least they had a pause feature.
Edit: Nevermind that bit about working out the problems - it's lagging again!

I watched some of the DOTA2 matches today, and was pretty underwhelmed. While it's true that I probably couldn't appreciate some of the play (since I don't know the game), the whole thing felt like an exact clone of the original DOTA. I mean, an identical clone done up with much better graphics. Perhaps this game is more skill-based, but I didn't see it myself.
League of Legends is currently established as the dominant MOBA game on the market. In order to beat the dominant game, a new release has to be significantly better than what's already out there. I didn't see that from DOTA2. I think it will do well enough, but I also don't think League of Legends is in any danger.

Like... a MOBA with a real replay mode ? :neenernee
But point taken, I think it's too early to judge the quality of the game either way. It's also a question of their business model, champion prices, etc
I just think there are two companies with a fantastic reputation when it comes to PC games, and those are Blizzard and Valve. I predict LoL will take a huge hit in the playerbase, at least in the beginning. Not because DOTA2 is necessarily the incredibly superior core game, but because Valve will do a much better job when it comes to maintaining their game and adding features and updates.
