I've gotten that problem when making FFH saves - I guess it means something is different between your two installs in some way. (Most likely something completely harmless, btw.)

Best solution is just to have someone else create the initial save, that's pretty easy and basically guaranteed to work.

If it helps, I don't have any mods installed (like BUG or whatever) and my game is installed through Steam.

Well, on the off chance it helps, I remade it using my wife's computer and sent to Ichabod. Here's hoping. Otherwise, have someone else grab the save from the map thread.
