Excellent report, Sulla ! Definitely one of the best game reports I've ever read.
Adventure Eleven - Sullla's Game

Great report! I enjoyed reading it a lot and you are at fault that I only got two hours of sleep last night and am now running around (and looking) like a zombi.

But you guys are the national champs for D3 lacrosse, surely that means you don't have to work a full day, right? The rich get richer and the strong get stronger. I've got 9 more fingers for championship rings! No days off for me. I'm working harder than I did last year! "There is no wealth like knowledge. No poverty like ignorance."
An amazing game sulla and your report did it justice. I Haven;t seen that sort of juggernaut in the modern age ever.
The game came away with a very oppressive feeling knowing that as you were beating the garbage out of Ghandi and Bismark, fdr and nappy were setting you up the bomb. Notice that out of the final 4 civs, FDR had UU marines, germany had UU tanks and nappy was just vicious. Sirian is an bad bad boy! Reminded me of some science fiction story where for the life of me , I cannot rememebr the name of the book now. grrrr. Interesting that both civs waited to bring overwhelming force together before steam rolling you. Had it not been for your sheer non-AI thinking you would have been swept off the continent absolutely. Never underestimate a human player's tanacity! I like the entire team concept that Sirian set up tho I think he messed up setting up alex where he was with the impossible alliance. AI teams could make for a few interesting RB SG's replacing sheer difficulty level with complimenting AI teams. Expertly played and truth be told, to win your way relied upon all you skill and knowledge. An amazing read. Cheers! -Liq Sullla Wrote:I watched the AIs closely with my spies to monitor their war weariness, and I never saw more than 5 unhappy faces in their cities from it. Heh. I know a lot of fighting was within their territory, but compare something in the 60-70 range for the human against 4-5 for the AI. That's just a broken game mechanic there.Do you really think so? In the sense that the AI should experince more war weariness? I agree that the human should get some kind of a break and there is a problem there, but for the AI to have much more war weariness ... people would just be rolling over them with even more ease (I am not refering to you game , congrat on the win by the way). I am curious to hear why you think so . BTW- I did not play this one, my comp. almost litterally smokes on large maps, but I loved your "Eastern Airbase" + pincer movement to eventually consolidate you fronts to small little narrows (I even showed my wife, she rolled her eyes, but still)

Fortune favors the bold.
Mental note: Don't read Sulla's reports at work if you are planning to get any work done.
You could probably sell these reports as strategy guides. PS About the strange overflow you got after signing the PA, I also noticed that in my game. And for me it also happened on first 2 techs I've researched. (Economics in 1 turn and Constitution was listed as 1 turn, but took 2.)
Yeah, I've got to admit I got stuck reading Sullla's report at work too. Mondays have become less productive than other days of the week since I came to this site.
