Adventure Thirteen : Kodii's Not-Really Extreme Report

Well actually, my report hasn't been written. This weekend was extremely busy (as those from my SGs already know). It wasn't really spectacular. I probably would have lost by Time if it wasn't for some weird voting... that probably gave it away right there. lol

EDIT: Its done. Click the link in the next post.

Okay, my report is now up. You can read all about it here!

I wrote it in a rush. There may be many mistakes. The fonts don't even match lol

Wow, that's the most 'true' diplomatic victory I've ever seen! You got the entire world to vote for you save your actual opponent. Well done!

Regarding getting votes from 'Pleased' civs, see the following thread on Civfanatics. In a nutshell, a civ at +8 relations or better will vote for you, even though 'Friendly' starts at +10.

The link should work. I find that if more than one person is viewing the page at the same time, it tends to time out. I may have to switch over to a different host to get rid of that problem.

Ok, the report finally worked for me. I must say, that was pretty interesting. Catherine voting for you on Cautious? lol . And washington voting for Gandhi as Secretary general but you for the win? Seems the UN continued its weirdness, but atleast this time it was in your favor nod

Nice game.

Washington had good relationships with both Ghandi and I, but I think the gifting at the end brought me above Ghandi.

Catherine? I don't even know. The turn before the vote, she was cautious at +3. The next turn, she was Pleased at +3. huh

That's really quite impressive - how in the world did you get all those civs to vote for you? I want civs to vote for me when they're only at +3 relations! lol And Washington swapping from Gandhi to you in the final vote was very unusual as well. I've almost never seen that happen.

Ah! Looking more closely at the screenshots... Gandhi converted from Buddhism to Christianity between votes, causing relations with Washington to drop. Did you get him to convert, or was that coincidence? I'd like to think this was the result of a machivellian master plan, but it seems as though you yourself were a bit caught off guard by the results. wink
