So, after doing the time warp agaaaaaaaaaaaain, I actually HOLY SHIT I PLAYED A TURN.

CALL THE COPS.

Wheat got improved this turn, so I figure the Workers will go improve the Pigs. So...yeah, doing that.

Did not end turn: Unsure of what to build at capital. I'd be fine with the Archer, but I get the impression there is better too. I just figure it'd be good to grow to Size 2 and a little Archer for choke preparation would be a good idea.

Chatting to bob yesterday he suggested having 1 turn in an archer before switching to something else (worker?) may not be a bad idea incase i needed to whip out some emergency defense.

Guess the same advise would hold for you

Sounds good. I'll do that then. Though I won't be able to whip the Archer if I don't grow with a Worker. Hm. Either way.

Oh well, I did think it'd be a pretty fun game, but I guess I just wasn't able to get it going. alright Perhaps next time. It didn't seem like I worked well with a team, either...

How quickly are you going to be building a lot of building infrastructure? I'm thinking you can hold off on the missionary and go more workers/exploration/defense units (while growing).

One upside of that approach is the chance at auto-spread w/o the hammer investment. It's unfortunate that you already spent anarchy on the religion/civic swap but those are sunk costs (with payback, just doesn't make sense quite yet). IMO we really want to get some cities down before there's a lot of military pressure on them. The more improved special tiles the better.

TT wanted the Missionary for his direction, so since you seem to be going a different one I can cancel the missionary. I'd personally like to grow while nabbing a defensive unit there because a Worker would want to wait until Size 2 w/ pastured pigs, which would not take very long.

Yes, I'm in agreement.

The basic priority is to get on as many improved special tiles as possible and get working on those for many turns. If growing to 2 means you get pigs sooner, growing onto them is better.

TT left me with cities out-grown the tile improvement rate, which is why I've queued up 2 additional workers.

Most keyboards have a pause/break button, pushing that should unpause IIRC. If you can't do it maybe I can, unless unpause is restricted to host in this case (doesn't sound like it, given speaker pausing/unpausing).
