I don't care enough to ask for a reload again (please, god, no) but you guys were very clearly playing things differently the second time around.
I couldn't get ahold of Luddite, so I had to play his turn even though he had played it originally and I had no idea what he'd done. If he whipped last time, then damn because I screwed his up. Also he had played my turn the turn before that and I wasn't exactly sure what he did so that would account for discrepancies on my civ as well.
Edit: Basically Luddite is a bit busier and I have more time so I'm playing all the turns that he played last time without any idea what happened with micro. I don't really know what to say except real life can change things.
I'd be happy to reload so I could have Luddite play his actual turn if you want. :neenernee But I'm seriously tired of them. I think the reload is actually hurting us.

Sorry, but I think incentives matter. We will probably reload the turn at some point during the remainder of the game? Sure. Will I be inclined to vote to reload if a team that's played most of their turns quickly then has a real issue come up like the designated player loosing power or having an illness or something? Sure. Will I be likely to reload ad infinitum for team 4 just because they don't communicate well? Nope.
One more thing (TM? ) - "The integrity of the game" is not a universally agreed upon term. I won't try to define it for you, but I'll also choose to not let you define it for me. All kinds of games have clock management rules, from the NFL to chess, and hurting one's position due to clock issues doesn't necessarily mean they were somehow harmed cheaply or unfairly. Civ isn't a purely SP game obviously...in fact in the Apolyton demogame we did some pretty hard core clock management stuff, logging in the second the turn rolled and playing as fast as I could click in order to game the clock. I don't think we were harming the integrity of the game, I think we were playing well. In the same way a team should be rewarded for out-of-game micromanagement or diplomacy, I see nothing wrong with a team that bothers to communicate out of game, share plans, and discuss who will play turns being rewarded in game. After all this is 2011, most of us have anywhere email, almost anywhere internet access, super cheap copies of civ, free online chat, free online voice, free online video communication, etc.

As India, one of my cities grew last turn. I have been following the exact same plan as last time, one I posted on turn 3 in my thread. I don't know what the discrepancy is. Are you sure its not a civ stats problem?
Cuz, I rather not have to deal with accusations due to Civstats issues or anything like that.

Team Reject missed their turn again, none of the three players logging into the game.
Honestly guys, at this point we need to know if you're serious about playing this game or not. Either start playing the turns, or we need to get a replacement team.

Should we just pause this? I rather wait for an explanation than play and reload.

I'll be blunt. I don't think reload or even continuing the game makes much sense unless something radical happens in Team Reject. They lack sufficient team spirit to make a functional team. JKaen is away, but I don't see Kuro or TT either having sufficient commitment level to play this through. Someone in their team really needs to step up and take charge of things and guarantee that the turns get played.

I'm guessing the tracker is not working, considering last I saw, it was Team 3's turn. This thread also has absolutely no post that says "Team 4 is up!", as it did with every other team. I honestly just thought it was still Team 3's turn. Clearly, I need to just stop trusting the tracker to give me accurate information.
I would say you should do whatever you think is nessecary to make the game work, though.
