Malware attacks aside...

Anyone else having mad fps lag post patch? I've never experienced any serious lag problems with LoL, but now I'm getting random drops down to as low as 2 fps. It's not even limited to team fights or anything such. I get it even while killing jungle creeps, and it fucked up a couple of my recent games really badly. Overall my fps is just lower, but it's still high enough I wouldn't mind if it weren't for those crazy spikes.

There are tons of posts on the LoL General Discussion forums about this issue. Personally, I haven't experienced it; but I've only played one game so far. My guess is the server is overwhelmed with too many people coming online at a time for the start of Season 2.

While in game open up your task manager and end process for the lol client (not the actual game; which has a TM sign next to its description). You will still be able to play the game and your results are still recorded no problem, the only setback is that you will need to relog in after every game and that you won't be able to see the score screen after your finish a game.

So aparently they didn't actually test what'd happen to elo rankings in the real world, so they disabled ranked games, and gave people the ability to have draft mode normals, just what every RBer has desired most!

Unfortunately it looks like we'll only have it till the next patch.

Cull, I actually tried that for my last game yesterday as I was wondering what would happen if I turned off the client. This gave me a very minor fps increase during spikes (7 fps instead of 2, which is still too low to be playable) and caused the game to crash within just a few minutes. At least I think that's why it crashed, because it usually doesn't happen to me. I'm probably just gonna sit this one out until they fix things.

From what I heard the new season is going to start when dominion actually starts, so hitting 30 first may actually be pretty easy if Riot acts the way it normally does.

Sandover: Bah. Worked for me to get my fps to about 10 to 20(SUPER PLAYABLE TIMES!). Sorry didn't work for you.

ELO carries over from pre-season to season. Pre-season is basically season 2 in regards to ranked ELO, just doesn't have stuff that Riot will "probably" "release" when it comes out IMO.

So there's a glitch that makes teleport instant if you use QSS/Cleanse/GP's heal and maybe some other skills with it. The funniest way I've heard so far to abuse this is to leave a ward in your base, use skarner ulti, then insta-teleport to that ward in your base and so drag the enemy to the base for a free 100% kill.
