Astronaut without sin confounds press, invites trio to control civilization

Got it / played t18.

Scout continues SW. I think it should probably go SW-SW next turn.

Warrior went onto the hill, and spotted mackoti's scout again, above the lake.

We've gained some map knowledge (e.g. horses) since we last talked about city #3. Right now I'm thinking on the forest hill 2S of the horse. It gets river rice first-ring and later gains clam and horse. It's also freshwater and coastal.

I also think we should put a city SW of the gold, but that only has clam for food (and doesn't grab horse) so I think it should wait.

Thoughts?

Yeah #3 is not a bad site - it can also steal #2 city's cows if necessary.

Not sure about the gold site - would that be the Moai city? Otherwise, it is production poor - what about 1W of the gold? It would struggle to feed the hills - everywhere would have to be farmed - but it would have better production at least.

Maybe 1W of the pigs for a future site.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

No C&D? Looks like someone got Bronze Working.

I'd like to see a larger dotmap.

City management: IIRC Ganymede works the newly improved cow next as Titan grows and works the furs. Haven't checked the save though.
I have to run.

We found mackoti!

His scout did the annoying thing. Since I'd rather he be able to sit on our forest hill than head for the deer, I moved thus:

I don't think he'll do either though; I think he'll leave us alone.

I haven't had time to do any analysis recently but here are the demos. I did notice that one player now has a size 3 cap, though no one else has a second city yet.

Next turn is when we swap the Fur tile to Titan and work the Cow in Ganymede. Btw we'll get Mackoti's graphs at the end of next turn, too.

Cool, things are getting interesting already. We need to figure out how to settle towards Mackoti.

Did you work the grass forest as shown in the screenshot, or a flood plain? Granary next in Titan?

That's just the post-EOT-shot, I think we work the furs next turn. (IIRC we may want to work the unimproved FP over it exactly one turn.)

C&D is hard now because warrior production obscures the tech power numbers. But here's what I've got:

(I'm just going to lump Sichabod in with the rest as though he played last in turn order; i.e. if he gets a tech between our t12 and t13 I'll say he got it t12.)

t12: Sichabod gets a tech, Fierce grows to size 2, rival total power up 7k.
t13: Luddicator gets a tech, YNL grows to 2, power up 7k.
t14: Fierce gets a tech, power up 10k.
t15: Luddicator grows to 2, power up 1k.
t16: ...
t17: Luddicator gets a tech, power up 6k.
t18: Fierce grows to 3.

My guesses: Sichabod = Hunting, Luddicator = 2 of Mining/Archery/Wheel, Fierce = almost definitely BW.

Also, I'd guess that YNL and Mackoti are currently teching BW.

With regard to the map, one thought I had was it looks kind of like we're in a small loop. Maybe the land is two triangular continents?

We'd be in the bottom right corner of this diagram, mackoti in the bottom left, and some unknown third player on our continent.

Good job, and your map theory seems plausible (except there must be a land bridge as Commodore stated we're all on the same landmass).

The northwest area is probably a border area as you say, it has the same terrain as our southwest area, and also has ivory and banana.
