Seriously though, how do you think we should catch the scum, Catwalk?

I think it's mostly random if we catch scum on day one or not. But we can gather information for future use, so we should shift pressure around a lot.

Pushing me out the airlock would be a bad idea. Why? Because I'm not scum. Can't really offer much more this early, I'm as good a guess as anyone. I do think we should keep the day going to gather more information, though. I don't think much good will come of seeing who's best at saying "I'm not a scum!" while flailing arms wildly for emphasis, but it's interesting to see who wants to kill who.

Also (and sorry for multiple posts), I think it's useless to discuss theories for day 1 reactions on day 1. If you have a theory on how to interpret day 1 actions, save it for day 2 IMO. Else you're essentially trying to lay tripwire for a wolf while he's standing next to you and doing small talk.

Personally I think what's most suspicious is when someone puts a vote out on someone random instead of making a vote on someone with a vote. SCUM is going to try and avoid being a part of the lynch. They'll try to let the Village form a wagon on a villager. So anyone who has placed 1 vote on someone who hasn't received any votes is suspect~!

Either that or we just vote Erebus for having not voted so far.

I think what's most suspicious is when someone makes a post saying that a particular type of rather common behaviour is suspicious, but then, instead of following through with that line of reasoning, slaps his vote down on an inactive.

What I meant here was that I didn't want to pressure Catwalk, and I didn't want to pressure an american. Therefore I voted Serdoa.

Am I really the only one wondering why novice is defending catwalk? Maybe I am biased, but I can't remember novice buddying up to others (except when he is a wolf...) or defending them on the first day.

You are quite right. Usually novice doesn't care who gets lynched on day1 as long as its not him.

By the way, with no fixed deadline the village can in theory push the votes around to gain infinite amounts of information per day. We won't learn anything if noone is in danger of being lynched, though.

Why then the vote for Lewwyn instead for Catwalk?
