We just want our throne back Wesnoth SG 2

T4 - Delfador's too good - he was supposed to leave the troll on the edge of death for the guardsman to level, not kill him! Oh well, reorient to the north. Kill the other nearby troll and wound the bat (Kalenz, true to form, missing with 4 of 5 arcane blasts). I'm not sure if we need them, but I recall two more dwarves and our arch mage.

T5 - We sight two more lvl 3 trolls, one on our side and one on Li'sar's. She may actually need a hand here smile. Not that that much XP would be a tragedy to take for ourselves. Blast at the one on our side, but don't have much ranged power up close yet.

T6 - Somebody needs to tell Li'sar that ogres shouldn't attack trolls headon rolleye She's taking an awful lot of damage over there. Hopefully our incoming reinforcements make the difference.

Meanwhile, in the west the troll is blocking our path, so I bring in Delfador to blast him out. We get our first lvl 2 guardsman, to help out.

Situation: We've got one troll in the west who ought to go down hard to the mages - try to get the kill on the arch mage if you can. A steady trickle of annoying bats, as well, but presumably once we break the troll we can hit those in better terrain.

In the east, the troll is just wrecking Li'sar, but I'm confident our forces can handle him if she can't. I've gotten a couple kills with the white mage, he's progressing nicely.

Bats have Undead-style resistances for some reason. We should kill them with casters wherever possible, and we certainly have enough casters to do the job...

Although, if there's an issue with using casters on them, it's that most of our casters are around max level. lol

Played my turn but forgot to take screenshots.

Pushed through in the west quite easily, although after breaking through I pushed a bit too near the enemy king and got a guardsman squished.

In the east I played a bit cautiously and ended up giving the kill of the troll to the princess before pushing up. Hoping that the princess can draw out the king again so we can mob him.

Sounds like two good turnsets, Mardoc and JKaen! thumbsup

Yeah, throwing ogres against level 3 trolls is not the brightest thing to do. lol And she had a couple red mages over there, too. smoke

The bats are undead, I believe -- the blood bats are the promoted form of vampire bats, anyway.

Let's finish the king off and get on with finding the Sceptre of Fire. smile

Nah bats aren't undead. Unless they've been zombified =)

Playing the bandit campaign single player atm, and its nice to have my arrows actually hurt people for a change when I face bats rather than undead after undead

still needs alot more xp before he levels but he was the best choice at the time.

It was either him, kalez, dalfador, konrad, or a huge pile or dwarfs.

Sounds good, fire&ice! We could certainly use another mage of light.

I will try to get to this later tonight, but it might slip to tomorrow. Depends on whether a misbehaving server at work can be convinced to start functioning properly again. banghead
