Other news: Mist apparently got a seaturtle event recently that gave his lake an extra food. And the first Luchiurp great engineer was born, which is what prompted my argument with Bob over in the balance thread. Darrell's got to have at least double our production at the moment, from the worldspell.

I'll do my best . Starting to think we ought to go straight for HBR after Kilmorph comes in, anyway. I'm still not certain I'll be able to afford stables right off the bat - but what else is worth grabbing in its place? I would feel more comfortable with some horsemen riding around collecting XP and pillage loot. Keep them focused on defense and we've got this in the bag .

Three turns until the scout arrives and we find out if we can get yet another tech. In the meantime, some actual news:



I'm going to a second warrior for the moment, then probably Elder Council. Or maybe just to a couple more warriors and settler.

We could both use a second city right about now, so settlers sound good.

Also I'd skip elder council for now, the map is commerce rich, we don't want an early sage for academy ( we want a prophet for the shrine ) and the techs are cheap enough for us both to rip through them fast enough. Spending hammers and turns on +2 beakers right now is just a waste of time.

Well, our scout found some interesting stuff this turn:

We've got Ygg - a generally good city site. And, we've found Ilios! A total of 15 tiles from my capital to his, if I counted right. I definitely think horseback riding sooner rather than later is a good idea here!
