Obviously as team 4 we are not really going to complain if the game gets rolled back.

Well whatever you guys do, be quick about it or this PB will be more of a joke than the PB that never happened.

Our team votes, very very strongly, against reloading. We all agreed after the last issue with Team 4 that we would not be reloading for every situation that came up. This game will never get finished if we keep stopping once a week to roll back the clock for missed turns.
Look, I'm sorry you missed your turn. But an 18-hour turn window (which equates to almost 24 hours in real time) is more than enough time to deal with the situation. Assuming that you can't play your turn, you could:
1) Post in your team forum and ask one of the other players on your team to play for you, like so:
Quote:Speaker, and Sunrise. I'm really busy at work and can only check the forums right now, but we're not up yet. If I don't check in, please play my turn for me. Thanks
2) Post here in the General thread and ask for a Pause while the turn is still going on.
3) If you can't access these forums and can't post anything, your own teammates should log in and play for you when the clock is about to run out. Everyone is keeping an eye on CivStats to know how much time they have, right?
I'd feel more sympathetic if this was a normal Pitboss game, where people are playing by themselves. But in a team game, where you have 2 or 3 others around to help you out? There's really no excuse for a turn not getting played under those circumstances. Tighten up the group organization and take some initiative. There have been times when I played for sunrise on our team, and when Speaker played for me, and when I played for Speaker. It's not that hard to do.
I realize that I am coming across as a giant ass in this post, but IF WE KEEP RELOADING WE WILL NEVER FINISH THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!! We have played just over 10 turns, and reloaded 3 or 4 times already? It's a joke. Man up and get things sorted out.

Yes, you are.

Don't insult me. This is not a "man up" situation. To insinuate that it is because I have simply not cared or am not man enough to do what it takes is downright rude. In fact, unless someone convinces me otherwise, I'd prefer not to play with you and have little motivation to continue this game.

I see your point, but (and trying to keep this discussion civilized):
1) What if the other team members aren't online either during those last couple hours? People do sleep, and not everybody has a job in front of a computer with online access.
2) What you're proposing is a large increase in workload. Now each player needs to babysit Civstats and his entire team throughout the whole period of the clock, just in case they don't show up for unforeseeable reasons.
I understand that your team has played everything perfectly. Your team is the exception. You and Speaker and Sunrise are totally used to weaving your lifestyle around all sorts of online games, checking in frequently, able to play almost any time, willing to do things like wake up at weird hours or run home from work. But somewhere between five and eight of the other players in this game do not fit that description. There's a reason PBEM is wildly more popular than Pitboss around here: the demands of a rigid clock are just not compatible with the lifestyle of the majority of players. You could continue demanding that they accommodate your desires, or agree to lighten up and refactor the game (ditch the clock) to meet more realistic expectations.

Missing your turn was the fault of you and your team. You could have communicated with them and arranged to have it covered. You knew you were busy at work, but did nothing about it. I fail to see why you missing a single turn should be call for a reload, nor why you are criticizing Sullla for calling it like it is.
If you can't be sure you can cover your turn, arrange for your team to do it, get a partner to help with your civ, get a Dedicated Lurker who can cover in a pinch, or as a last resort automate your workers, set your unit movement path, and build queues.
If we reload every time someone is busy and misses their 24 hour turn window, we will never play this game.

T-Hawk, you do realize that every team has pretty much a full 24 hours of real time (18 hours in game) to play their turn, right? You mean to tell me that a player is so busy he doesn't have time to check in once a day? If that's the case, then they need a partner, or teammate, or to not play.
