Wow. I simply would not have guessed that was possible. Nicely played. What did you defend yourself with in the early-going, archers or chariots? After reading your writeup, I would have guessed that aggressive AIs applied to all civs, not just the human. But after T-Hawk's....
Edit: oh man that Minaret...that had to hurt. Especially since it probably would have taken all of what, 15 turns or so for the Minaret to pay what you got in refund? Ouch.
After taking a look at my screenshots, I noticed that I only lightly defended my cities all the way through the game (anyone recall my Epic 7 game, finishing off with one warrior per city? ). By the end, I still only had longbowmen and a few musketmen.
nice game Kodii, no slavery and a diplo victory! You had the best opening strategy that I have seen yet, with agg. ai, monopolize religion and you reduce you potential exposure to attack. Excellent game.

Impressive, I didn't think it would be possible to monopolize 6 out of the 7 world religions on emperor without lightbulbs or Oracle. What were your diplomatic relation scores like at the end to secure the votes?
Maybe I was a bit hasty to say I was lucky not to be attacked by Rome, as all the other religious focused players seem to have kept good relations too.
I think I was Friendly with most, if not all the AIs (except Sally). I'll double-check later to make sure.
You controlled the religions and so you controlled your relationships. I thought about trying this strategy before I started, but I thought it was too risky and that I'd end up with just one religion and no military. But the greater the risk, the greater the reward. I'm really glad to see that you did it and succeeded. Very very nice.
