Astronaut without sin confounds press, invites trio to control civilization

Culture is from victory conditions. Regarding micro, we should replan Io/Ganymede for a T49 stonehenge.

Revised micro plan, new elements bolded. This gives us Stonehenge T49 and Pyramids T53. We either get GLH T46, or two extra settlers T46-47 that can settle island cities.

t42: Max sci on Masonry. D mines. A mines gold. B moves to forest 1N of Callisto and chops, then cancels. C is still farming corn. Ganymede works Rice, Cows, Copper, Furs, builds one turn worker. Callisto works Rice and forest, starts work boat. Io whips granary. Found Europa, work oasis, start Granary. Titan works 2xFP, 2/1 forest, deer, mine, fish to get lighthouse to 19/40. Spear back in Ganymede. New axe moves towards Callisto.

t43: B moves to horse and roads. New worker E moves SE-SE and roads, then cancels. A completes gold mine, work it in Europa. Io Granary->Galley. Titan puts another turn into settler, works Copper, Furs, Deer, Fish, Forest, Mine. Ganymede starts a spearman, works Lake, Rice, 2xFP, grows in 1. Callisto works rice, forest, cows, grows in 1. Io starts Galley. Europa works gold. Northern warrior moves to Io.

t44: Masonry->Monotheism. A moves NE and finishes road. E then moves N-NE-E to forest 1SE of Titan. C roads corn, then cancels. Titan whips lighthouse, works Copper, Deer, Fish, Mine. Ganymede starts axe, works 2xFP, furs, cows, rice. Callisto works Rice, 2xforest, lake, completes wb in 1.

t45: Complete Monotheism at 60%. A moves to E. E chops. C moves S-SE to plains forest. B moves back to forest 1N of Callisto, chops, cancels. Titan whips settler, works Copper, Deer, Mine, Fish. Ganymede works Rice, lake, 2xFP, furs, grows in 1. Callisto works Rice, lake, Cows, forest, builds workboat for clams, starts Galley.

New plans:

t46, GLH biadl: Tech 0% on Priesthood. Do not adopt OR. E & A finish chop. D finishes mine/chop. C completes chop on plains forest. B puts one turn of road into rice. Io works fish, corn, 2/1 forest, grows in 1. Callisto whips Galley, works rice, cows, forest. Settler in Titan moves to Ganymede. Europa works fish. Titan works 2 mines, deer, copper, builds settler. Ganymede works 2x1/2 forests, furs, 2xFP, rice and puts 14/40 into a worker.

t47: Europa works gold. Adopt OR if Europa is hindu, unless Callisto is also hindu. Titan works mine, copper, deer, fish, builds another settler in 1. Ganymede works rice, cows, 2xFP, furs, lake, continues Axe. Callisto works horse, lake, clams, rice, builds lighthouse (to 19/40). Io whips galley. Settler moves to Callisto and loads onto galley. Axe can load onto galley for extra protection. This will leave Callisto unhappy, but it will still complete Stonehenge on T49. Loaded galley moves towards stone. Warrior arrives in Io. New settler from Titan moves towards Io. E cottages. A moves 1W and cottages, then cancels. D moves into Titan. B moves to horse, pastures, cancels. C moves to forest hill 2N of Ganymede. Workboat nets clams.

t48: Settler moves into Io and loads galley with warrior. Galley moves 2NE. Io starts workboat, works food + 1/2 forest to get wb in 1. Wb will follow Galley to net new city's fish. C mines/chops, A moves to forest hill 1S of Ganymede, D moves to forest 1N of Ganymede, B pasture horse and cancel, units unload on stone. Galley back to Callisto perhaps. New settler from Titan to Callisto perhaps. Callisto whips lighthouse, works rice and cows. Titan starts galley(?), works mine, 2xFP, deer, grows in 1. Ganymede whips worker, works copper, furs, rice, 1/2 forest. Europa works fish.

t49: Adopt OR. Found stone city. B chops forest 1N of Callisto. Callisto works clams, rice, cows, builds henge in 1. Ganymede works copper, furs, rice, 2x1/2 forest, build Pyramids. Io works fish, corn, clams, puts 1 hammer into Spear. Europa works gold, builds granary in 1. Titan works 2xFP, deer, fish, grass cottage. Max sci on Priesthood, get it in 1. New worker (F) in Ganymede moves 1SW to forest.

t50: B completes horse pasture. F chops. E moves 1W, completes cottage. Io double-whips Spear, overflows to work boat. Ganymede works cows, 1/2 forest, rice, copper, furs.

t51: E moves to gold. Keep going and finish Pyramids on T53. (Optionally aided by a spearman whip.)

Actually, by inserting a barracks whip with max overflow after the worker whip, we can shave the Pyramids ETA down to turn 52.

These plans are also possible even if we land The Great Lighthouse. =)

Really nice work on the micro plan.

Still holding out hope for the GLH though, it definitely looks great on this map.

Btw I took another look at land tile counts. It looks like there are about 500 tiles of offshore land which is 83 per player. It looks like everyone gets a crappy nearby 5-tile island and two 1-tile peaks - that's 7. So the flood plains island plus whatever's out there in the foggy ocean comes to ~76 tiles of land per player!

Got it.

I had to verify my T52 Pyramids plan first...

To be clear, I'm playing turn 43 now.

Gotcha. smile I'm all in favor of that.

I looked at the save; just like the last few turns, no one we've met has gained a tech we can research. (I.e. no Ironworking/Writing/Archery/HBR, and still just one each of masonry/medi/PH/MC)

Okay, I decided to write up our micro plan as a google spreadsheet. Here is our current plan, with GLH eot46, Stonehenge eot49, Pyramids eot52.

Seven and Space, I've shared the document for editing with you.

And here are some pictures from the actual turn 43. I somehow forgot to screenshot our core.

I offered fish to YNL, as suggested.

We started working the gold this turn, and our GNP looks nice with double prereq boni on Masonry. After end of turn the GNP returned to normal, this is the GNP our rivals see.

Either way, our crop yield and mfg is pretty good too.
