Um, well, it looks like whatever the timetable is, it needs to be accelerated. Holy crap is Mackoti in a good position. I'm amused by Amelia and Ranamar worrying about Mackoti dying too quickly, as opposed to, you know, being smoked by vamps in a couple dozen turns.

Reminds me of PBEM3 actually, where the alliance was held up then partially fell apart as everyone worried about a post-Thoth world. Worry about getting there first, guys.

It's too bad that nobody in this game has come up with the idea of getting optics and Gibbon ASAP and then sailing about and dominating the Great Apes (which they should all know exist through the events log). I think I said this earlier, but given that Vitalize Gibbon is a natural fit for this map anyway, I think that would be a very viable strategy.

Man, even more blindness, although to be fair to Sareln, it's not like he has a ton of relevant mid-game experience. I think we should start taking bets on the murder order:

hrm. Mr. Yellow's attack force is 7 Horsemen?
That seems a bit weak for this stage of the game.

I thought he said that he had 10, and might build a few more before attacking. Sounds like some are fairly high level, too. I think he had wanted more, but he's lost a few in barb battles gone horribly wrong. Not a terrible force, especially after warcry, and Mackoti has too many roads. I think he'll be ready by the time Yellow can reach him, though.

Bah. Yes it's 10. 7 with promos.
As a pillaging party it's decent, but I have my doubts about it's ability to score a kill.
OTOH, I don't see copper in Mackoti's empire, so his warriors are going to be squishy.
Rushes vs non Bronze opponents are fun.

So, 12 horses vs. whatever Mack has. Mack has quite a few roads, if his somewhat sparse screenshots are any indication, so it's going to be tough to defend if Mr. Yellow moves well. But Mack will have had quite a long time to build up by the time Yellow reaches him, and he knows that this has been coming since the Hippus haven't exactly been discrete. I think that an elimination is out of the question, but there could be some razings in Mack's future.
On another topic, does Mist's game plan actually make much sense? He seems to invest a lot of time into very clever strategies which aren't actually particularly good. An inconclusive, ultimately pointless worker -> Asena rush in II, where it would have probably been easier to just build melee units regularly, and then going for the neat Elven Runes economy too early in IX, which saw him building super-expensive SoK to fight off an army that had a high percentage of generic cheap spam units. And so here we have him doing some sort of incredibly slow growth culture push game, with a civ & leader which isn't in my mind particularly well suited for it.
